Sadly, it's not enough to know how they work, but to be able to avoid it outright. Countless people know that they have a problem but struggle to overcome it (whether casino gambling, gacha, or otherwise)

They're right- I had the same problem; casino where I live- started going once in a while for fun until it became a weekly habit. I eventually was able to stop going entirely but it's a hard habit to quit man, let me tell you

I've had a similar but lesser issue recently, where I was eating too much sugar and ended up with a cavity and had to pay for it to get fixed. Been a lot more conscious about sugar since then, even though it's hard to regulate my intake sometimes
(This was my first cavity ever, you see)
