I voted in this for Remake combat because I think it's better for the overall health of the FF community btw

people who liked the old ATB system get something out of it at least

the debate of action vs turn based is reduced cuz of what 7R does tbf

makes me wonder if they will use XVI combat or a new combat system in the DLC. DLC apparently won't be a sequel and if they do something that happens during the timeskips they basically force people to only play with half of clive's abilities which would suck

I am hoping for a Barnabas, Cid and Benedikta DLC

with 7R combat

they aren't going to build a new battle system for a dlc

expand on it maybe with new skills/eikons like any other game

Yeah that doesn't make sense to make a whole new battle system

If you play as another characters then the skill system will just change to a specific eikon

So instead of mix and match eikons, as Jill you get 6 Shiva skills

If it's Clive still as the playable character, then I really hope they can add more basic combos

Like you can finish all of those 3 hours into the game and then you play with just that for 40+ hours

The eikons don't really change anything for that, you get some new skills to use that can be fun but that's about it

does kinda make you wonder how they plan to do
