if action combat means just pressing a 3 button base combo and then going into turn-based mode then why even bother

the thing that I want to know the most currently is if this game is gonna go more into the direction of a SMT mainline game or if this is just reskinned persona

I don't really expect more than that. Maybe add an AOE attack later down the line.

It's still going to be mainly a turn based game, the action looks to just be to defeat weak mobs faster and give an advantage on bigger ones.

If they somehow can combine the best elements of persona and smt this game will be firetrucking amazing

I really hope the music is better than what they have shown so far. Going from persona to this is...rough.

I honestly like that more than the autokills in p5r

it's more engaging than just running over enemies while holding a button

gonna expect them to use this as the new autokill

for low lvl enemies

but yeah it doesn't sound like action gameplay at all so far
