its not that i didnt give ffxiv a chance but, i cant be arsed to do turnbased i like being in control and just be lighting fast and hit hard like sora or roxas or whoever in the arpg genre

ff7 was the only time i played turnbased on ps1 i didnt give ff any chance until i got interested in a ff arpg game when nomura was announced to helm one

but i did like ff16 and hope they keep trying with ff arpg

i got burnt out by that real fast plus the stupid expansions locking out good areas i couldnt be arsed to buy those either

so there's this one dude i met back when i first started taking DDR seriously. i was absolutely floored at how good he was, and still am always in shock at how good he is today too. but anyways far forward a year and a half to today and we played together for the first time since then. even though I'm clearly not as good as he is still, i was able to keep up now. he even gave me compliments about my technique/form and it honestly made me so happy hearing that from him
