you have legendaries roaming, randomly generated dungeons, some grottoes with boss in them

it's all real time

but you dont unlock guns right awway

some pals have fighting abilities, like you can use the firefox as a flamethrower

or give the monkey a machinegun

they use their abilities by themselves otherwise

you can mount some, and fight while mounted using their abilities manually

havent tested flying yet

you can have one active pal out at a time, but some have an abilities that make them fly around you and fight, so you could have 1 active + 4 passive out max

instead of putting it against pokemon, i think it's just a nice alternative with a different take, and i think pokemon could learn just a few things from it

ha, the music is almost non existent, i think they should work on that, very forgettable

i think it's exactly the same kind of gameplay as ARK, bu i haven't played it so not 100% sure

my favorite part is the exploration, it's like zelda/genshin, full freedom with stamina, the game is really big and you find eggs, treasures, upgrade pretty often so it feels good

but it's a bit empty at the same time in term of landmarks, i guess you dont need much with no story

He basically says that the market doesn't care about whether it's AI made or not because the consumer determines the value and as long as it's good people don't care.

What made people upset regarding this clip is the idea that that's okay and artists shouldn't complain about it.

it's firetrucking sad that SE is currently getting punished for exactly this

there's a FFXIV manga competition currently and SE banned a popular content creator who uses AI for their work and now they are getting ratio'd by the fans of this content creator for banning them due to the use of AI

this is the kind of thing that will be forgotten pretty quickly

I wish the CEO would be more like the devs

it would be unfair for people who don't want to use AI

i'm sure a LOT of artists are still using AI in some way or others, you can use it to get almost what you want then draw over it, nobody would know

you only catch the lazy ones

but it must save so much time, no reason to not use it atleast for the sketching part, or to create a nice composition

And see, that part isn't usually seen as a problem. Hell, I've even seen artists say it's fine if a commissioner brings ai art to them to use as a concept, because they're just trying to convey their request to the artist and aren't actually treating it as the end result as though they made it themselves

AI as a tool? Sure. AI as a replacement (like generative AI)? Hell no

yeah hat's what i think too, thankfully it's still "easy" to spot AI generated art even when they touch it up

They're wrong btw, the first one is better in many ways sure but the second one is far from bad, it's really good
