There's a way to turn that off but its a bit annoying

If you go into your settings, system and turn this off it should work again

The only issue is that when you scroll and stuff there will be screen tearing

it fixes it but then chrome runs at 10 fps

I don't use chrome anymore though, I use Vivaldi
