Anyway yes Frontiers is a god damn mess all we can do is hope they have learned lessons for the clearly inevitable Frontiers 2/next open world-ish Sonic game

Interesting, I've thought about downloading it since I have it in my steam family and trying it out, but there was a mod that I saw that like seemed to be a very good overhaul/content addition that would enhance the experience

Same with the Platinum for Frontiers. Didn't really play through the DLC stuff, though. 😓

While the game had technical issues, I do think Frontiers is a good start in Sonic's direction with the story and trying to move past the Color to Forces era.

You aint getting a 2. You'll get a different sonic game that will follow up on frontier under a different gameplay and different naming. Or maybe ignored like unleashed and black knight/colors
