It doesn't surprise me, especially with how interviews with Yoshi P goes on "FFXIV Remastered???" that the graphics resemble or are even borrowed from XIV

I wouldn't be surprised if Phoenix's character model was just built off prerendered WoL's

It's really exciting getting to see the 14 people work on a different project how they can work without restraints from 14s world and lore

There's a FF 7 reference in FF10

I read somewhere that 10 takes place like a really long time before 7 because of some guy resembling shinra in 10

And in FF7R there's a FF10 reference
