regarding the KH4 thing I might drop a video in the following days because I have a lot to say about it. And the KH fandom won't like it

I am absolutely firetrucking tired of Nomura and Disney's bs but that's all I have to say about it

KH fandom has a lot of toxic positivity issues when it comes to Nomura because he gets a lot of bad faith shit sometimes. And because of him getting bad faith shit people do not want to criticize him

"Nomura gets bad faith shit and therefore we shouldn't criticize him because he will get even more hate"

it's why the biggest content creators meme the entire time about it

instead of criticizing him

it's absolutely not okay that people have to wait years again just to get new information even if him releasing the KH4 trailer was made in good faith

he just wanted to have something for the anniversary but it's bad when it takes ages again to get new information

also I want to know wth is going on with missing link

it shouldn't take a mobile game 3+ years to get released

also if I really want I could twist this in a way again to say how problematic the FF fandom is because they are the main issue regarding the nomura hate

I am still debating whether I should call the video "Kingdom Hearts - A mismanaged franchise" or go full clickbait with "The Problem With Tetsuya Nomura And The Kingdom Hearts Franchise"

Also like Snake said TGJ does way less clickbait nowdays. TGJ or HMK could absolutely farm clicks with making constant videos about how KH is dead or how Nomura ruined the franchise

Second one is more clickbait because the state of the franchise isn't Nomura's fault entirely. Square Enix is super mismanaged currently

I saw someone talk about how the character designs of FF took a dive once "Nomura took over" and showed pictures of 7, 8, and like 12 and 13- ones he didn't even work on lmao

I do think we should, conversely, be a little more willing to shit talk tho- not just Square but game companies and devs in general.

Thanks to the internet being able to tell us how hard game dev-ing is, I think a lot of people have the mindset of "it's so hard and i could never do it so I/we should be nice and understanding", and if you ask me, I think that mindset is very reductive.

He literally said "I have a close source to me telling me Square Enix might be doing their own event that they used to do and they are bringing it back in February". Yes I understand there are a lot of 'maybe's' and 'mights' and he obviously also said "You can believe me or not and you should still take it with a grain of salt" but he still put it out there and lots of people are running with it

As much as I love UX’s and Dark Road’s story, I disliked the fact that they were in a freaking mobile game

And not to mention the battles would have been so epic in 3D with VOICE ACTING
