IX so far feels like theyre getting similar treatment to KH. Lots of nothing burgers throughout the year until they just go silent again. Hopefully I'm wrong and this is actually leading up to the IX Remake announcement, but we'll see

I don't know. New artwork, figurines, new music, new merch. I think that's pretty big for a 25 year old game.

Like the only reason people are expecting a remake is because of a leak

Otherwise they have done a good job

I guess the other thing I've left out is the difference between the two. KH is an ongoing series so all of that feels moot in the end, but thinking about it now, IX is a single game getting all of that which tbf is actually pretty sick
