i forgot how INFURIATING it can be!!

 

i haven't played it in a long time & i forgot u can't skip scene selections, so when u die (which is a lot in this game) u gotta start ALL over to the checkpoint & watch the scene all over again.

 

also, the bosses are infuriating! right now im at the tiger head in agrabah & ive died 12 times! i play on Proud Mode for every game i play & have no problem. but KH1 kicks my arse!

 

however, its nice being in traverse town, finding the dalmations, finding the trinity marks & seeing the story come together. but it is infuriating lol

and his voice ugh its so childish and stupid

lol, that game i beat 100% on expert, all puppies, trinities, beat sephiroth, kurt zisa and phantom but can't beat trickmaster on easy hahaha.

LOL i hate their clothes!! & for some reason, when namora makes a side game with sora & riku in it (take the KH3D coming up) he puts them in their same "baby form" !! same clothes, same hair like in KH1.

 

however, im pretty sure i saw in an interview of his that their clothes will change somewhere in KH3D. i sure hope so. im sick of seeing them in the same thing! they look awesome in KH2. they should use that look instead!

well if you have stop magic you can freeze her,i always freeze her when it comes to disney villains boss battle

In Final Mix, you can skip some scenes when you die in a boss and click continue so you won't see the same scene again 8D

 

Block, dodge and use magic (aero, fire, thunder, cure) That should to the trick.

Well, my situationis different. If I wanted to replay KH1, before I put the disc in, I start thinking do I want to replay it because of Wonderland? Then 20 minutes later, I decide to play it. Other than that, I find KH1(if I'm rusty) a bit hard unlike KH2, which is easy breezy. #Winning

This is true, but the reason it isn't considered a button masher is because it took strategy to reach the bosses, attack when you could, and not get killed, especially if you are going on proud. Critical bbs lv1 reminds me of this only way harder.

omgg yea pot centipede, i died at least 10 times. i absolutely hate that lol i just got passed that & i was all happy but now im pissed again cuz i can't beat the tiger head now!! ughhh lol

 

its the same guy who voices riku in both 1 & 2, but i guess cuz he's supposed to be a year older the voice actor (david gallagher) deepened his voice a bit. im absolutely in love with riku's voice in KH2. its so sexy hahah ;P

Kingdom Hearts is one of the easiest Square Enix games I've ever played.

 

Kingdom Hearts also doesn't have a Proud mode, but instead Normal and Expert modes.

The Final Mix version does though have three modes called: Final Mix: Beginner, Final Mix and Final Mix: Proud.

nowdays i dont think kh1 is that hard i use to think it was hard but now

and yeah kh1 isnt as good as kh2 but they had to start somewhere

Yeah, the bosses always kick my ass on Expert mode so i have to level up a LOT to survive. All RPGs are easier if you are on a higher level.

I love the first game, best in the series if you ask me unlike kh2, it is actually a challlenge.

i like KH2 more just cuz i loved playing as Roxas. i love the graphics, how deep the storyline got, loved the organization fights & the 1000 heartless fight (that's so much fun! lol) & Space Paranoids (im obsessed with Tron).. but i love KH1, i just forgot how hard it is on Expert! my fav world in KH1 is Monstro (well, not really a world, but a whale hah) & im trying so hard to get there, but Agrabah is kickin my butt!!

WHOA! Whoa, ho-ho-ho, buddy. KH3D is NOT a side game. It's a main game, like the ones you're playing right now. Don't get it confused, child. Anyway, I actually enjoy their KH1 outfits more. They've grown on me. That, and hey seem more colorful than the KH2 ones.

You know, it's kind of funny; after BbS came out I ended up replaying all of the KH games. I've beaten all of the games so many times now (and on different levels, too), but I was surprised, I really don't have trouble with KH1 anymore (I used to have a LOT of trouble). The truth is, I beat everything on my first try, and I hadn't played the game in seven years.

 

Anyway, as much as I love KH1, some things really irritate me now. Besides the camera and difficulty level, I hated that you really had no idea what you were supposed to be doing a lot of the time.

 

Also, Sora really didn't react (or do) much when it came to the Disney worlds. Maybe they didn't want to mess up the movie's story too much? Anyway, I really liked seeing Data Sora's reaction to stuff in Re: Coded. And I loved that Sora was the Genie's master in it. Though it can't really happen Canon-wise, it was nice to see it happen that one time because of Pete's interfering (I'm also glad we know for sure now that Sora would have wished for the Genie's freedom). I think things like that are what's needed to make the Disney worlds mesh more. Aqua asking to try on the glass shipper in BbS was also a good inclusion. I really hope if they remake KH1, they'll have Sora more involved in the Disney worlds. And in future games, they should strive to make the Disney worlds more important.

 

Back to KH1: As much as I love Sora (he's my favorite character), he really irritates me some in KH1. He was very bratty (I think even Nomura said that), and I can understand Riku's side more. Yep. KH2 Sora's my favorite.

But now that I'm older, and have played the other games, I have to say that KH1 could have been a bit better in some aspects.

& yea the outfits are more colorful but childish lol which is fitting for KH1 cuz they're younger. but can u imagine sora & riku STILL in the same ones? sora looked ridiculous in the first part of the game in KH2 cuz he outgrown them so much & the colors just looked crazy. thats the first thing i commented on (i guess cuz im a girl lol) i said "omg i hope he gets new clothes... look how short his shorts are!" then i got to the part of the fairies giving him his new clothes & i was so happy!

LOL i agree! sora really irritates me sometimes in KH1. he is bratty. KH2 sora is 100% better.

Yes, that is one of the things I hated about the game. Whenever you die you have to replay the whole entire damn cutscene over. Thank god, I beat Dark-Riku on my third try.
