Would u like KH for Wii

Recommended Posts

Possibly, it all depends on the gameplay system for future games. So far it has been command based attacks, but in an interview they said something along the lines of 3d's system to be the base of games to come. Still, I don't have a wii don't really know of how it can be used.

I'd rather see one on the Wiis successor seeing as how the Wii's life has almost finished. I've always thought though that a Kingdom Hearts on Wii could utilize the Wiimote and Nunchuck well somehow to make a fun and good addition to the series.

I don't see how the Wii is almost finished. Sure there's a rumoured successor, but consoles tend to last well beyond their successors release.

tutti frutti. I always had a hard time imagining KH on the Wii, more so since on a select games seem to be good with motion, such as Wii Fit, while others, such as the Madden Series, seems to be better for traditional controls. But unless Nintendo has something up their sleeve, the Wii seems done, unless there is a successor in the making.

A Wii game doesn't NEED to use motion controls. Even if it does, it could just be for a pointer.

yeah, even epic mickey (a disney game, so it came to mind) uses the wiimote classicly e.g. i hope for kingdom hearts you wouldn't have to point at things but just shaking the wii mote like in that and mario galaxy could benefit kh. maybe they can even do it so you can choose between motion controls for keyblade swinging and traditional gaming, although i doubt it. but i could definatly see kh being on the wii.

I like this idea for game play for kh wii (if it ever happens)

I would be mixed on it because the graphics and the game play may be questionable.

Well you don't need to worry about graphics, if the next KH game comes out on the Wii, that will be the most powerful console to have a KH game to date (The Wii outmatches the PS2 significantly, and the 3DS, while technically superior to the Wii, has to render every object twice, essentially halving the power available for graphics)

Gameplay you don't need to worry; keep in mind KH is played primarily with one button, the button that selects your command on a menu. Usually there's some sort of gimmick button, and that can work to, here's an idea:

Wiimote:

A- Choose command

B- Jump

+- Pause

D-pad- Select command

Nunchuck

Analog stick- Move

Z- Lock on

Then, the 'special action' could be either slotted to a motion controlled shake, or a press of the C button.

There's still the - button, and the 1 and 2 buttons, not to mention a pointer.

tutti frutti. For the most part, I never stated that Wii games NEEDED to use motion controls. With some of the games that I have played for the Wii, in my own opinion, there are games that seem better with motion controls than others, that is all. But ultimately, I don't think that KH should be for the Wii.

I know sarcasm when I see it since I do it as well. lol

lol, yes you are the master of sarcasm. lol

That would be neat but, the companies would have to join forces. lol They are kind of rivals.

Uh... rivals? What? Square has made 3 KH games for Nintendo handhelds, and plenty of non KH stuff for all sorts of Nintendo systems.
