lol althow i admire ur qustioning on every aspect its more of a kh only thing the something to be taken litteraly

Eheheh, I think it's more of a metaphor (like "I CAN SMELL JUSTICE" or "I CAN SMELL THE EVIL IN HIM")

Like the others said it just a metaphor... Unless you take it to the extreme and start using your brains. Darkness is, well, dark, and as it's evil it should stink. So I pointing more to burned coal smell. But as I said this must be just another KH metaphor.

i know its not really something nessicary to make a point of but i was wondering if anyone had anything funny to say. i wasnt really being serious. i know that darkness doesnt have a smell.

I've also wondered that. I found it hilarious Riku could actually smell that stuff; what a good boy Riku~ You hunt down that darkness! xD

The smell of darkness? What kind of question is that?

Yeah, for some reason, when Riku and also Zexion sesne darkness, they think of it as a smell. It's quite odd and they've made fun of it in the manga, like how Xemnas and Riku 'smell' alike. They must be using the same deoderent.

it smells like peanut butter

see? thats the kind of stuff i was hoping people would say

Well, Riku tells Ansem SoD that he couldn't stand his stench, sooo my vote is dirty socks.

lol and when riku is tlking to vexen

Riku: darkness is my enemy, and so are you for reaking of that awfull smell!!!

CoM is the only game I didn't complete so I wasn't aware that Riku was a bloodhound for darkness. I wonder, in retrospect, if Sora can smell light? xD

I think darkness would smell like rotten fish, burnt rubber, and body odor. And light would probably smell like Paupu fruits xD

maybe it smells like smoke and poison and then you can also sense negativity and horrors...

and maybe riku get used to smell when he was possession of ansem SoD.

I really doubt that darkness has any smell. It's probally just nothing. Can't you ask a better question?

Or maybe it's just a funny tingling feeling in the nose. (My Spider-sense is tingling! xD)

I think it smells like... like... Okay, I know I imagined what the smell was, I just don't know what it smells like.

I believe he also said he could TASTE it.

... dude its just a question for fun. you dont need to criticize

Ah! Now I remember what I imagined what I thought it smelled like! Skunk.

Probably old cheese. I don't know why, but I always thought that whenever they said it...

Its weird that they put the smell of darkness in Chain of Memories, yet in other Kh games they don't have the smell darkness

ur right... in other kh games they just sense darkness. but in the gba CoM riku could tase the darkness

Hope Square does more with that ability.

I believe he also said he could TASTE it.

What? You, you can't taste darkness. It's not a food. He must be going crazy.
