So how did you find out about kingdom hearts?

I found kingdom hearts when i was 8. My sister wanted to see a remix of a song and when she searched kingdom hearts video came ut of nowhere. When we saw the video that it was showing sora,namine,riku,mickey,kairei,donald,goofy etc.....I new it...i was in looove!! ;p

I was 16, so it was last year. x3 March 2010 I think? I was trying to branch out my video game tastes, so I was looking on Amazon for other DS games, and thought I'd try an RPG for once. I was toggling between choosing KH 358/2 Days and Final Fantasy IV. I ended up choosing Days because of the graphics and battle style (action instead of turn-based). I asked a friend about it at school when considering, and at first I didn't get the concept with how it was mixed with Disney and thought it sounded really dumb at first, but I fell in love after I played the game for a while. Then in May, I bought a used PS2 at GameStop, my cousin got me a memory card as a belated birthday gift (that was nice of him, 'cause I was broke ) and I got a used copy of KH1 in June. Then, it REALLY began. x3

 

 

Anywho, I have now played and completed every game except for CoM/Re:CoM. I just watched the cutscenes of Re:CoM before playing KHII.

I found out about Kingdom Hearts when I was ......... I think I was 5. Though I didn't like Kingdom Hearts in the first place so I didn't play it for like 2 year I think. Then after I was super bored and wanted to play something, I found the Kingdom Hearts game and I was thinking "Eh why not?" and started to play it. That is the day I got addicted to Kingdom Hearts and played for hours and hours beating it. So its kinda weird but I have to thank boredom for finding Kingdom Hearts cause without it I wouldn't have gotten addicted to it and loved it.

I found around the age of 9. I was bored and didn't have anything challenging so a friend told me to get kingdom hearts. She said it was challenging to play and to keep up with all of there little stories. When I got through the first one I kept playing because I could play something good and keep up with story. If I weren't a Kingdom Hearts fan I wouldn't have the brain power to understand everything like the little thing with Terra and Xehanort.

I was watching Disney Channel and that Disney info thing Disney 411 came on and I remember thinking it looked like the most ridiculous thing in the world. Wow, i was young and foolish...

I saw a short little article about KH1 in our weekly Donald Duck magazine (I was 14, about to turn 15) so I asked my parents for it for my birthday. Thought a FF/Disney mashup would be the best of both worlds. So my parents got it for me, then I kept playing it over and over and over... until 2 came out. I tried to convince my brothers to get CoM for their GBA's but that didn't work out.

i saw the trailer for the first one on tv and thought wow that was dumb then my friend got it and said it wasnt that bad so i like "ok why not i need to play something new" so i got it and started playing and had a blast it was great of course i wasnt as good as i am now but still lol

I actually discovered it in a store, i was casually browsing and the game case really stood out. So i read the back and as soon as i saw a screenshot of cloud strife on the back i was like.. 'whaa...?' Disney? Final Fantasy? in the SAME GAME?! So being a big fan of FFVII and Disney movies, I naturally bought it there an then, and have been hooked ever since.

I got it when I was 8 or 9 cuz my sister wanted it and it was a kid's game and she had no money, so my sister told my mom to get for me for christmas and I never got to actually play it until about 3 years later

back when kh1 came out in NA i saw cm for it and wanted to right them and there but i didnt have a ps2. So when i got a ps2 and had gotten a gift card for bestbuy i want to buy kh1 so badly, but my dad talk me into getting wheel of fortune cuz it could be a family game. Then next time i got a another gift card for bestbuy went again and this time before my dad could sucker me into getting another "family" game i got kh1 and went right to the counter to pay for it.

i was about 10 or 11 back in 2003. I was in gamestop and i was looking for a new game a second one my first ps2 game had been dragon ball z budokai and i wanted a new one. Looking around and then saw kingdom hearts it was used but i didnt care it had stickers that covered goofy and donald, so i bought didnt look at the back if i did i probably would of said. "This game sucks" like i said i didnt know any better. So i got home and started playing itit was a nice game then i saw a cutscene where they show goofy and donald and i was like "wtf why are goofy and donald there" so i just kept playing and realized this game is badass.

It was in 2003 so I think I was 8 or 9 years old then.

I was 10 and Kingdom Hearts 2 had just come out. My friend who lived right next door to me had it and let me borrow it. I beat the second one before I beat the first one, then I bought the first one. And now i've bought everyone ever since. lol

I was 12 or 13 when I first saw a commercial for KH. With the Simple and Clean music, the video of the opening, and all the Disney stuff I was in love. But I didn't own a PS2 and wouldn't for another 4 years Actually, I'm thankful for that. When I was younger I quickly grew out of those things. Since I was older when I finally got my hands on the game, its been years and I still haven't grown out of it.

4 years ago i came with my family to the mall walking bored as hell we walk into the electronic shop

and there it was the kingdom hearts 2 video game

i was like woaaaahhhh when i saw the cover and turned right around and shouted DAAAAD I MUST HAVE THIS GAME LOOK HOW COOL IT LOOKS and amazingly he said yes and bought it

when i came home i ran to the PS2 turned it on and started playing......... confusion fills my body cause i didn't play the first games

and when i started to understand and found out my cousin knew the game series and all.......it was......AWESOME

I've known about Kingdom Hearts since I was little, but back then, I wasn't totally into video games. Especially not ones that were mixed in with Disney characters.

 

In Christmas of 2009, I got a PlayStation 2. Dad let me pick out any game I wanted, and I saw CoM on the shelves, so that's the one I picked. I ended up loving the characters and the game, and after reading a little more about it, I decided that I wanted KH2. So I got that, and then KH1, and then Days, and then re:Coded.

i was 5 me and my grandma went to gamestop and she told me to buy kingdom heart but i didn't want it then 4 months later my big cuz got it for me and i start playing..then i gave up on it cuz i sucked..then 5 years later i start playing it again..

Lost the game 2 times though. I techinacly bought 3 copies of CoM

i saw kingdom hearts for the first time at shop but i didnt show interest at first but few years later my friend borrowed from his friend KH1 and asked if i wanted to give it a try and then i was hooked to the game

Me and my brother borrowed it of someone when I was 8 and i became obsessed with it. If i never played it my life would be so different, in a bad way.

I was 13. I was actually watching Final Fantasy 10 on youtube and a KH video was in the sidebar. When I saw it I was like, " No way! A game that's a mix of Final Fantasy and Disney!?!?!??! Dude!!!! And you visit the Disney worlds??? AND you fight along side Goofy and Donald? I'm so there" ;D

I was lucky enough to see a commercial for it when I was 14 before the actual release date.

I was lucky enough to see a TV commercial for it in mid 2001. By the time i was release I was 14 the same age as Sora which is funny because I actually sound allot like him and have almost the same hair and eye colors
