tutti frutti. This idea popped into my head while talking to another member of the forum. I thank Vorian_Rob for giving me the idea. When the final fight with Master Xehanort comes, which one character would you want to be the one to do the final fight and finish off Master Xehanort for good? Even though Sora has been, a will continue to be, the main "hero" of the series. But if there was one character, if not Sora, to be in the final battle and put Master Xehanort then who? What are your opinions and why?

If not Sora, then Riku. Kinda like payback for possessing him back in KH1. And it would be interesting if MX told Riku he was the boy that left the island that gave Riku his dream of leaving it too.

Maybe Terra because MX took over his body.

I think Sora gonna defeat him , if not then it's Aqua and I don't see any reason for Riku to kill MX since he didn't do anything to him (I am talking about Master Xehanort ) .

I think it would only be fair if Riku or Terra finished off Xehanort because Riku has experience from being controlled by Xehanort and can tap into light and darkness and I think he would most benefit helping Terra or Sora taking down Xehanort.

Actually I think it should be Sora or Mickey because there the only ones Xehanort didn't screw over in some way. For anyone else it would just be revenge, not justice.

A fair point, though it could be argued that Sora's connection to Ven could give him a reason for "revenge." Even with this argument, your idea was an excellent point.

Sora would be my #1. Ventus, or Riku next. It'd be awesomely unexpected if Vanitas took him out!

I'd say either Terra or Aqua. Terra for revenge on Xehanort for possessing his body. Aqua for... well basically for revenge just like Terra . Xehanort caused Aqua to go through a lot, but I guess I'm only saying Aqua because I like her .

They did Sora and friends in KH1, Sora and Riku for KH2, and probably Sora and Riku for 3D.

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes either in the direction of Sora, Riku and other (Maybe Kairi, maybe someone from TAV) or literally just having EVERYBODY do it together. Like Trinity limit, but with 12 people.

I will finish him off, no wonders about "if there was no Sora". That isn't even thinkable.

Riku and Terra vs. Xehanort 8D

I'm going to go with nobody, the moment he's back in his old decrepit body he's going to die of natural causes.

I am willing to place money on the fact that Vanitas delivers the final blow to Xehanort. Tetsuya Nomura has already claimed that he intends to continue the series past the Xehanort saga. This would require a Villain more powerful than Xehanort. We already know Vanitas is going to return, simply because they intend to ressurect Ventus. And since one can not exist without the other, reviving Ventus will revive Vanitas. Since Vanitas is the only person to date not to fall to Sora's Holy Purge of Anything Even Remotely Disgruntled, he is currently the only viable option. I expect Vanitas will deliver the final blow to Xehanort in an attempt to add Xehanort's power to his own.

 

How he will accomplish this I dont know yet. He may pose as a party member for a while, or maybe he will refuse with Ventus and become the dominant personality, or maybe he will just dive from the rafters and kill steal like a pro.

Actually, to be honest I like the Ventus theory the most. But, maybe he will refuse with Ventus, leaving Ven as the dominant personality, Ven will make the final blow, and then Vanitas will slowly take him over from the inside between games o.o
