Hello guys! I've decided to create this fanfic about Kairi's life -- although you'll find some content that is shown in the original story. This is my first Fanfic, so I hope you enjoy it! I'll update it as soon as I can

 

It'd be cool to read this while hearing Kairi's theme ~~

 

A girl named Kairi was born. She resided in a town named Radiant Garden, with her grandmother, whose duty was to take care of her little granddaughter. In the town, no one knew about what had happened with Kairi’s parents. They just knew that she lived with her Grandmother. Kairi had pretty blue eyes, and red hair. As a baby, she was very pretty, but not tall. She was very loved by her Grandmother, who couldn’t spend one second without her.

 

As she was getting older, she began to wear a while dress, which had some violet things that reassembled the letter “X”. She also wore white shoes, which had a little of pink and violet on it. She also used a white necklace, and her hair had grown -- it was around her neck. Kairi’s Grandma told her many stories, but Kairi had a favorite one : the one about light and darkness.

 

According to the story, the world was once only full of light. In that time, people loved the light. However, as time went on, people began to fight for it, because they wanted to keep it only to themselves. And, as a consequence of that, darkness was born in people’s hears. The darkness spread very quickly, and it managed to swallow people’s hearts, and even the light itself. Then, the world disappeared, but the Light would not be so easily destroyed, and so its fragments remained in the children’s hearts. Thanks to that, the World was rebuilt. But, the worlds are divided from each other, since the true light is still sleeping deep within the darkness.

 

With that story, Kairi’s Grandma wanted to tell her that she must not be frightened of the darkness, because just by believing in the Light, you will be safe from the darkness. Kairi enjoyed that story so much that she kept asking her grandma to tell it again and again.

 

Kairi is kind, gentle and respectful. She is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, whose hearts are pure light, without a single flick of darkness. She has a strong personality, and what she likes the most to do is spend time picking flowers from the gardens around the town where she lives.

 

At the age of four, Kairi had just picked some flowers from the Garden near Ansem’s Castle, when she was attacked by some weird creatures named “Unversed”. Strangely, however, she had an ability of driving these creatures away. Frightened, Kairi began to scream, when suddenly a girl, who appeared to have eighteen years, and was carrying a weapon that reassembled a Key, appeared to rescue her. The girl seemed not to be ready to fight that big number of creatures, but thankfully, a mouse with a weapon like hers appeared to help. The girl took Kairi to a safe place, but then she immediately returned to help the Mouse.

 

It took a few minutes, but the two of them were able to destroy the creatures that were frightening the little Kairi. The Mouse was able to talk, and it told both Kairi and the girl his name -- it was Mickey. He also spoke about a man named Yen Sid, but suddenly, something began to shine, and Mickey just disappeared. Before doing, however, he said that he would meet them again soon.

 

So, now that there were only Kairi and the other girl, Kairi decided to give the flowers she had picked to her, as a symbol of how grateful she was. The other girl thanked her, and said her name was Aqua. However, just then, Kairi’s Grandma just arrived and screamed Kairi’s name. However, Aqua asked Kairi to stay just one more minute, and then she touched Kairi’s necklace, saying that she had just cast a spell on it. The spell would ensure that wherever Kairi was in danger, her own light would lead her to someone who was able to keep her safe.

 

As soon as Kairi approached her Grandmother, she asked her to tell her favorite story once more. And, loving her as much as she did, she began to tell the story one more time.

 

Kairi continued doing what she always did, like picking up flowers from the gardens near the Castle, and her life remained the same until the next year, when something very bad happened in the town she lived. In one day, she was collecting flowers, when she felt that danger was near, and her necklace began to shine. Frightened, she ran to her house as fast as she could in search of her beloved Grandmother, but she could not find her. And, to make the situation worse, when she left her house, she looked at the sky, and noticed that it was black, and not blue.

 

Then, she began to cry while running to Ansem’s Castle. However, as soon as she got there, she was kidnapped by Braig, one of Ansem’s apprentices. Kairi asked him where Ansem was, and he answered that Ansem had left their world, which was his responsibility to take care of (when in reality, Ansem had been made prisoner in the depths of the castle). He also told her that he could bring her to somewhere safe, and so he entered inside the castle with her.

 

Kairi had never entered inside the castle. It was so beautiful. But Kairi did not have time to spend looking at the rooms of the castle, because Braig held her hand and began to run to the direction of the Laboratory.

Just one day remained until the results of the experiments could be ready. Xehanort decided to go the Secret Laboratory, but this time, alone. There, he looked at some of Ansem’s old theories about Kairi being one of the seven maidens of the pure heart.

 

When he was reading that Kairi had a strange ability of making Unversed, which were no longer in this world now, go away, he began to feel a big headache. Terra, who was inside him after so long, had finally decided to try to take control over the body. But, Xehanort managed to keep him out this time. One thing was clear, though. Terra would try this again countless times.

 

Xehanort could not allow that to happen -- at least until he knew if Kairi was really a Princess of the Heart or not. After this, he returned to the main area of the castle, and prepared to have dinner. Only he and Braig decided to eat. The other apprentices said they were not hungry.

 

Even had stood at Kairi’s side. For the first time, he felt bad for what had happened not only to her, but to the entire city. But it was too late to go back now. Even if he wanted, Xehanort would do anything to stop him. Ienzo arrived in the room where he was, and decided to stay with him for a while. Quiet as always, he did not say a word to his scientist partner.

 

Braig and Dilan were in Dilan’s room, talking about their plans for the future. Actually, they did not have even one. There qas nothing they could be completely sure about the future. Lea’s and Isa’s eyes only needed one day to go completely yellow.

 

Nobody could sleep well in that night. Finally, the results were ready. Even was not surprised with them. According to them, Kairi was one of the Seven pure maidens. As soon as Xehanort heard that, a big smile appeared in his face. Now, he could make his secret plan for her turn into reality.

Now, that Xehanort was completely sure that Kairi is a Princess of the Heart, he decided to try to make one of his theories about the existence of many worlds turn into reality. According to his thoughts, if Kairi were sent to the place where the worlds are connected, she would be able to go to any world.

 

To accomplish that goal, Xehanort ordered Even and the others to create something that could fly -- and could take him and Kairi to a very distant place. After analyzing everything, and making a project of a vehicle that could fly -- Even told Xehanort that it would still take three days to build it.

 

Now, only three days were left for Xehanort to complete his master plan. If he and Kairi arrived in another world, then he could bring more darkness to each and every world he could go. Now, at least until the vehicle was finally ready, Kairi would stay in the prison once again.

 

However, differently from before, now -- he would treat her very well. He would give delicious food, and even have some conversations with her. If everything went well, then Kairi would be a very useful instrument for him -- like his passport for countless worlds.

 

Like in everything, there was the possibility of failure -- and just to guarantee that IF it were to happen -- he created a device that could bring him back to Radiant Garden.

 

At the night, when Kairi woke up, Xehanort was looking at her, and smiling. Afraid, she asked what he was doing there. He replied that she should not be afraid, because he would not do her any harm, and also showed some ice cream -- which he had brought for her.

 

Suspicious, she asked if it was poisoned just like the cookie, and Xehanort said that it was not, he even swore. But he also said that the decision was up to her -- if she wanted to eat, then she would have some good and pleasant moments, but if she did not want, then she would waste a good chance of eating something delicious as an ice cream.

 

Then, he left her alone, after saying a “good-bye”. Kairi could feel that, at least this time, Xehanort was not lying, and so she decided to eat the ice cream. It was delicious. She had not eaten anything so good since the last time her grandmother cooked for her. And so, she began to wonder where her grandmother was -- and if she would ever see her again.

 

It was very late, so Kairi decided to sleep. In the middle of the night, she woke up crying, and then Xehanort came to talk to her. He brought one more ice cream -- which was enough to make she stop crying, and then she returned to sleep.

He being a little too nice Im scared for her.

Ah ha! Trying to buy Kairi's loyalty with ice cream, are you Xehanort! Well, it won't work....okay maybe it, but not for long. It's going to be fun to see how Xehanort's flight goes.

Well, isn't he capable of empathy. I'd like to think of this as Xehanort bringing Terra out from inside him. He's probably taking ideas from Terra.

Finally, after waiting so much, the day which Xehanort would fly with Kairi, to see if there were other worlds, had come. In the morning, when Kairi woke up, Xehanort gave her another ice cream, but this one was poisoned, and by eating it, she would fall asleep for four hours, and by the time she would wake up, she’d be already flying with Xehanort.

 

The vehicle that Even created was not big, but it was enough to carry both Xehanort and the little Kairi. It could fly for seven hours, but after that, no one knew what could happen to Xehanort. But he was willing to take every risk to find out the answer for his curiosity. He would risk the sake of the entire Universe, if it were needed.

 

After three hours, Xehanort was finally read to fly. So, he picked up Kairi and clicked the button that made the vehicle capable of flying. In one hour, he got out of Radiant Garden, and saw many small worlds around a big and unimaginable space; he was right, there were countless other worlds. However, when Kairi woke up, a light emerged from her necklace.

 

That light was so strong that Xehanort had to close his eyes, and when he opened them again, Kairi had vanished. As a result, because of her impact, she went flying around the universe like the rays of the sun, in an incredible speed, which made Xehanort’s vehicle break, and so he fell once again in his world.

 

He had hurt his head, and could not remember much things. Strangely, he was able to wield a strange weapon, which had the shape of a key, and so he headed to the castle, even though he did not remember that the castle was now in his control.

 

Meanwhile, Kairi continued to fly, until she fell in a small, beautiful and pure world, which name was Destiny Islands. She arrived in a street, and the mayor came to see what was that. Everyone thought that it had been a meteor, but it was just a girl that came from nowhere. Kairi saw two boys, Riku and Sora, and quickly befriended them.

I'm so glad Kairi finally got away from Xehanort and cool Sora and Riku are in story now, I can't wait for more!

I'm just gald Xehanort can't make any more evil food.

I hate Xehanort. But I'd like it if you put a bit more description.
