They write similar things but I prefer Terry Brooks' writing style over Tolkien's.

What's a Xenophile?

Someone who's interested in foreign countries.

Xenophobe is the antonym which means fear of other countries and foreign people.

Most unpopular opinion in the world;

I never should have to like violent things, period, to be a 'kind person'.

:D

I actually think Lady Gaga is one of the most amazing singers of this generation. I really respect her. She's an amazing performer and I wouldn't describe her music as 'pop'. I'm not sure what it is. It's a little of everything. I mean songs like Heavy Metal Lover and Scheisse definitely are not pop. I'm really glad she exists. And I'm glad she's fighting to make a law for Jamey, one of her fans that committed suicide.

Women = Men, equal in every single way. Women are not smarter. Men are not stronger. Men shouldn't be expected to hold doors and pull out chairs unless women are too.

Bush screwed everything up. Obama can't really do much. It's like, he's trying to undo all of Bush's mistakes imo. He's not the best, but I don't think he's done anything wrong. We all mess up.

It's all Bush's fault

Sorry to burst your bubble but men and woman are not equal in every single way. I'm not sexist, and I don't consider my gender (Male) to be any better than yours. Unfortunetly such a simple concept is invalid.

Sure, their are some guys who act like girls, (Who am I to judge) and there are some girls who act like guys. (Share the opposite gender's qualities would be a more efficient way to put that) but in the end, the differences between our two genders are vast.

The Government talk... I do not believe one man, whether it be Bush, Obama or McCain can change the fate of America. I care not for politics, but in the end it comes down to what we can do as a nation. If we can all stand up for one cause, one true cause, we have a chance.

Yet, I believe it's impossible for such a feat to happen. Just as it's (Almost) impossible for humans to find a way to live a structured life style without interferance of a higher power, or law system controlled by a Government. It's unfortunate but hey, the truth hurts.

Anyways, it's beyond us. We have no say in what happens. Speculating and discussing previous/current presidential mistakes and accomplishments is useless for that reason.

Smiley face.

Calling someone who cuts an attention whore is about the stupidest thing you can do.

It's not always far from the truth. Back when I was in middle school, there were girls who would practically show off the cuts on their bodies. They would compare the self inflicted wounds to see who's were worse. Cutting is a cry for help. In some cases unfortunately it can in fact be a cry for attention, and inflicted for no other reason than to just "Fit in". Now of course, for the sake of the mental state of these people, it would be best not to bring that up to them, obviously. Yet, what else would you do in that specific situation? You try to comfort them, plead with them to stop the cutting. It's buying into what they had planned all along. They want to play the victim, and it works. They see that it works, how they are treated differently with cuts on their arms, and they repeat the process. Of course it's not like this in all cases of cutting, and I am not judging nor calling them, or suggesting they are, as previously stated, "Attention seeking whores" it's just... How do you sort out the real from the fake.

People who do this just for attention alone obviously have something going on in there lives, and the fact that they are doing the harm to themselves just for that reason could fall back into the original idea of cutting as a cry for help but... I'm done typing.

Just cause somebody family buys then what they need and go to doctors for him/her/hir, does not make them spoiled.

There is no proof of god anywhere!! Another them a book that is just fulled of bullshit! I'm sorry if I'm offending anybody but to me it's just. . Bullshit.

Is giving people hope really such bullshit? Is the hope that one day (In some religions) they will live peacefully with the family members who have previously passed away for all of eternity such bullshit? Is the idea of life after death really such bullshit, that having a book or written form saying as much be assumed an automatic bluff because you cannot physically prove it?

Just because you don't agree with those people's way of thinking does not give you or anyone else the right to label it as "Bullshit".

That is all.

Smiley face.

The Xbox One jokes got old days ago. The fact that people are still complaining is stupid imo.

"oh shit microsoft is gonna spy on us!"

"Kinect again"

"no games"

"the  (insert system or pc here) is better"

As much as I dislike Microsoft it does get really annoying when everyone is constantly complaining about a console. If you don't want it then don't buy it.

I honestly got tired of all the complaining (from everywhere) like, the day after it started. I don't want it, I won't buy it, my opinion, that's the end of that. Of course people are going to buy it but it's not for everybody.

While I do agree that people faking mental illnesses and manipulating others is terrible, I also believe that ordinary attention seeking isn't a bad thing and that people need to stop acting like it is. And also that people need to stop with the misogynistic habit of calling others, "attention whores."

Also, I don't think yaoi is appealing at all and I have yet to understand why girls are more attracted to two guys getting it on than guys are.

Well, Lesbians getting it on has always been a turn on for guys, so I guess the same applies to girls and gay guys getting it on.

I guess it's the appeal of two people you find sexually attracted to doing things, rather than a person you are attracted to and a person you aren't.

My reasoning might be because yaoi fans are sexualizing gay sex the way that girl on girl is sexualized by society. But for me, I think gay sex looks painful and that probably is a huge turn off for me. xD

it's okay not to have an opinion on something (as in a certain topic not everything)

like I don't know how I feel about the legalization of weed. I see both pros and cons--there are plenty of good and plenty of bad things about it. It would help keep honestly good kids who just did a little weed for fun out of jail, from what I've read it's very relaxing and can help you think. But it also releases triple the carcinogens of cigarettes and there are people who would get high as they drove and that's definitely bad. So in the end, I don't really know whether I support it or not, I'm just indifferent.

you don't HAVE to have an opinion on everything. It's better to get all of the facts or just stay neutral than to one-sidedly believe something without completely understanding everything about the issue. Like if you don't know what you think, then that's fine. Explore it and if you still really can't decide, that's cool. Sometimes it's hard to make a decision on what you believe and it's perfectly okay to wait and not have an opinion.

I think an anime/ manga/ video game doesnt necessarily need a tragic death scene of a particular character OR a very heart-touching ending to be popular or awesome. Those are just one of many factors which a anime/ manga/ video game can be. I hate it when people say a <franchise> is so awesome just because it gives them feels

"Even if they're different, they can still be equal." Alright. Sooo, saying that I don't believe that our respective genders are equal, that makes me sexist?Alright. After saying that I do not consider my gender any better than yours, I still came off as sexist?Alright.IF THEY ARE DIFFERENT FROM ME, WOULDN'T THAT MEAN THEY ARE NOT EQUAL TO ME? You make no sense. Only way male's and female's are equal are in the sense that we are both human beings. It's not like I see girls not as good as I am just because they are girls.

I'm confused. Are you saying we're not NATURALLY equal or not legal in SOCIETY? Or with our genetic makeup or...? Koko when he said we're not equal I don't think he meant it in an offensive way, everyone is different but we're all the same species (well, Morgan Freeman is questionable). Like...in different animal species certain ones are by no means equal. Often some female spiders are huge in comparison to male spiders, and the female spider will try to eat the male spider during the mating process. They're both spiders, but not equal. With angler fish, the male angler fish attaches itself to the female and gets digested into her becoming nothing more than a ballsack (no. srs). They're the same type of fish, but again, not equal. But that's genetically. BUT YEAH if you're ever bored check out some weird animal mating rituals. They're pretty interesting. With humans, physically, men are "in general" stronger than women. Women "in general" have stronger lungs. But of course we're humans and our society lets everyone be equal. So like we're equal in the sense of social stature, but not always physically. But of course those things physical can be changed. It's because we're "above" animals, that our minds are so "advanced" that we are expected to be equal, to avoid being animalistic, and to control ourselves.Sorry for the unnecessarily long paragraph I actually don't remember what I was writing lol firetruck I forget what I was talking about.Anyways on topic for my unpopular opinion: I love gingers, freckles, and braces. My family says I have terrible taste in men but I CALL BULLSHIT!

Well, really we're different in both ways. Men and women have some different brain chemistry. That could have us be different in society, at least. We are not equal naturally possibly because of this. I don't just mean by looks, or different man and women "Features" that make us differ from eachother.

I'm not sure what Koko means by equal anymore. If she means that both genders should be treated equally, then I agree but it's just not the way of things because we are not equal to eachother. Guy's generally treat women with more respect than they do guys, like holding the door open more and all those things that "Gentlemans" do. I don't believe this is a bad thing, or that women should treat us with more respect in that way. I do those things out of respect for women, it's not a thing that I feel obligated to do. Guys do this because they are the more physically able (Most of the time) out of the two genders. (Human speaking). In the old days, Men always were the ones who fought in wars while woman stayed and took care of there loved ones. I think both of those are great responsibilities and are great in their own ways.

So... No, I don't think we're equal, but I think that is a good thing. If in a relationship, your partner was exactly like you were, wouldn't that be boring? I like seeing what my girlfriend's opinion is on certain things, and how it differs from my own opinion.

They're all generalizations though, not every man is is a gentleman, not every woman is a bitch - just as not every man is a tool, and not every woman is a symbol of chastity.

True, but that only further explains that we are not equal. No one is equal, even within there own respective genders. How we treat eachother is based on the personalities of those people, and since everyone has a different personality, to even treat everyone equal just wouldn't work out. That's really all that I was trying to say, and no I wasn't trying to offend Koko with what I said. I also wasn't trying to shoot down her opinion, but it did sound like that. Sometimes I think of things better than I can put it into words. By the way, your unique taste in men is just as good as anyone else's, because that's YOUR taste in men. I don't think their is a good or bad taste in men/woman. ;)

Yeah man I hear ya. I can barely form my thoughts and when I do it just comes out...blargh. Misinterpretations galore. I don't plan on changing my taste in men ay time soon! Hey...if they think I have bad taste well then, more for me xD

Long reply coming through so bear with me.

First off, I'll clarify that Koko's genderqueer and prefers gender neutral pronouns. They don't identify as a woman so try not to use feminine pronouns on purpose in the future. It's really uncool to misgender.

Secondly, Koko isn't talking about natural equality. It's pretty obvious in terms of biology that male bodied people and female bodied people could never be truly equal. What they meant was social equality between both binary genders. And for non binary genders as well. As Ducky elegantly put it, "our minds are so "advanced" that we are expected to be equal, to avoid being animalistic, and to control ourselves," we have the ability to put an end to the oppression and discrimination that the patriarchy and male privilege causes.

This is primarily directed towards JJForever but by your logic of, "Because we're different, we can never be equal," that's like saying a black person can never truly be equal to a white person because of differences of pigment in the skin. Or that an autistic child can't have the same rights as a neurotypical child because of differences in neurological wiring. And that kind of thinking is what causes certain groups of people to have different kinds of social privilege and that privilege in turn is what causes discrimination and then oppression. I know you, yourself didn't mean any harm by it but that thinking in and of itself is harmful and I highly discourage it.

I'll end this by advising you that if you ever end up being in an argument or debate with Koko in the future regarding things like gender or physical sex, to do your research on third wave feminism and male privilege because you might end up needing it.

I didn't mean physically. That's, like you said, an obvious non equality between the two genders. I do not mean equal by looks regarding your statement about "That's like saying a black person cannot be truly equal". We are different in the sense of planning, organization, impulse control, and learning from mistakes mainly due to women have a much higher level of activity in the prefrontal cortex. This can tie into social equality and how we differ from eachother in the general talk of society. That's biology related though...Alright, as for both to be treated equally in terms of social aspects. I agree for the most part putting it like that. Like, the fact that men generally get paid more in starting wages. I don't agree with this. I believe that men and woman should have the same amount of privileges in terms of things like that. However, person to person, I think that a woman being treated the same way as a man from a man's point of view wouldn't necessarily be good for modern civilization. (I'm not firetrucking sexist so please do not take it that way) Women generally have more protection laws for them. Like say for instance, if a man hits a woman the charges are far worse than if he hits a man, because of the physical differences between them. In Koko's way of thinking, would this law on abuse towards women not exist? If it would then it would go against what she's saying. If she wants women to be treated like men... Be equal. It would be horrible for that reason alone. For men and women to have the same amount of rights, yeah that's awesome, but for the two genders to be totally treated equally in terms of everything else... I don't think it would work out. Not because I do not want them to be, but because of past references from civilization. What is the talk about male privalage... Sure maybe legally, or whatever but you know how easy women can manipulate men just because they are women? A lot of women today use there gender as a tool, just to get what they want. (Saying the truth doesn't make me sexist) I'm done with all this though.

Kind of since so many people hated it. It didn't phase me.

Though I'd drop in and let you know, Mozart wrote a song called Lick My Ass. So if you want to redefine immaturity in old music, there's that to think about.

A literal translation of the song's title and lyrics into English would be "Lick me in the arse". A more idiomatic translation would be British "Kiss my arse!" or American "Kiss my ass!"

Nothing wrong with that :P
