This thread is a debate on anything that is related paranormal. Ghosts, Aliens, Demons, The Lochness monster, Bigfoot, The Jersey Devil (which happens to be snookie /shot), CROP CIRCLES, ETC.

 

So yeah. Do you believe in anything?

 

I believe that Aliens exist, The universe is MASSIVE. There has to be other life out there besides us.

Ghosts are real, I know this because there IS a ghost in my house. Not kidding, she was raped in murdered, turns out the kitchen was where she was murdered.

 

(cue the "at least she was in the kitchen" jokes)

 

Bigfoot is just a costume.

Lochness monster must be a plesiosaur that survived the meteor that killed all dinos, but he has no friends to play with right now, he must be lonely. :c

Aliens aren't really paranormal. I believe in Aliens.

But I don't really believe in all that other stuff.

I believe in anything really. Because me as a human being, cant say that something doesn't exist.

Just because we cant see it, doesn't mean its not there.

I don't know what to say I don't believe in such things but, I do get scared at scary movies about them.

ghosts are REAL. some of them are good or bad but from what i saw, i mostly saw bad ones and it wasnt pretty.

I'd like to believe in aliens. Like you said, the universe is way too big for there to be nothing else out there.

I believe in ghosts. I've seen enough evidence to believe in ghosts.

Lockness monster. Eh. Could be a dinosaur, but it would be dead by now. Not really something I overly believe in.

I also believe in magic and witches/wizards. I believe in spells and curses to a certain extent, I just think it's hard to cast one these days.

Um...anything else? Can't think of anything...

Bigfoot is real, Ghosts are real, Aliens are real, Rapist are real, EVERYTHING IS REAL!

I definitely believe in aliens, but not the one eyed, green, ugly, destructive types you see in the movies. There is definitely far more intelligent life out there, and I think "aliens" are it. I believe they are far more advanced than us. Technology wise, medicinal wise, intelligence wise.. everything. Earth is a very new planet. Earth is pretty much a baby, but the others out there aren't. I also think they probably look like us. Maybe slightly different.

 

I also know ghosts exists. I used to see them a child. No joke. The "gift" went away when I was around 15. I can still sense things sometimes, especially if it's strong, but I don't see them because I choose not to. My Mom had a picture of me sitting on my bed in our old house when I was 3-4 and there's a butt print right next to where I was sitting. I also frequently have dreams that are kinda like predictions. (I knew when 9/11 was gonna happen, when my Dad was in a car accident, when my Gram was going in the hospital, she my Aunt and Great Grandma were gonna pass away.. that kinda stuff).

 

The lochness monster, jersey devil, mothman and stuff like that are just myths. It makes me laugh that people are more afraid of fake, lame myths than the real things that exist.

I think aliens might exist, there's no way we could really know. I don't want to believe ghosts exist just cause I can't watch one scary movie without being scared for life (and I really do mean for LIFE) and I really don't see a bunch of souls staying at the place where they died instead of moving on. Big foot? Some guy in a costume or a bear or something. The Lockness monster I'm not sure about.

Spending most of my time on /x/, I'm definitely interested in it. But... I dunno if I beieve all of it.

 

Like... Aliens probably exist. Like waytothedawnx said, I don't really believe in the stereotypical aliens, but I do believe in another more advanced life form out there. Ghosts are debateable, as I've never had a personal experience, but there has been evidence that's pointed to their existence. The same applies with demons.

 

It all depends on the evidence and the believability.

I don't care if I offend anyone, but not believing in Aliens is simply stupid. You don't have to believe that they abduct people or kill cows or even visited earth, but thinking that there is no other form of life out there in the Universe (which is constantly growing larger and contains thousands of times more stars than cells in your body) when earth is just, as cracked.com put it "an atom of a pimple on God's Ass" is absurd. Us humans are so insignificant. I would be happy to enlighten anyone who disagrees.

 

Ghost, not really sure. Considering that ghost stories have been with us since the dawn of time and that we continue to hear new ones today, there has to be an element of truth to them. Not sure if they are the spirits of dead people, creatures from another dimension, or something else. While I think many ghost stories are extremely exaggerated (many people who witness ghost are often mentally unstable) there is definitely an element of truth.

 

Big foot is a possibility. We discover hundreds of new species every year, mostly insects, plants, or deep sea creatures. While it is unlikely that an ape larger than a person has eluded us for years, it is still a possibility, especially if these creatures only live in very specific parts of the world. Say a few acres of woodland, or in the case of the Abominable Snowman, high in the mountains. They might also be extremely close to extinction or extinct altogether (there haven't been any convincing bigfoot or yeti sightings recently).

 

I doubt the Loch Ness monster exist. While plesiosaurs or their evolutionary descendants may live in the murky depths of our oceans (the depths of which are still 70% unexplored) I highly doubt that one exists in a land locked lake, especially considering that people have searched that thing dozens of times and haven't even found a skeleton (if it died). Plus most of the "evidence" of the Loch Ness monster were revealed to be faked by their creators years after the original hoax.

 

I don't believe in magic at all. I believe in magic in the metaphorical sense (such as the magic of Christmas) but not the physical magic like wizards and witches. "Magic" potions are just natural remedies for things with a little bit of a religious twist. Actual spells are impossible in my opinion. Apart from mythology and folklore, there are no actual recorded instances of such spells. You don't see people shooting fireballs out of wooden sticks. One could argue that "magicians" are people who can tap into magic. However magicians just use illusions, not actual magic. The proper term for these people are actually "illusionist" as they simply manipulate our perception of reality, much like a 3D movie does.

Seeing Roger from American Dad makes me believe in aliens.

jinns,demons, fallen angels(some people call them ghosts), they exist .yes they are the paranormal and i believe they exist and i believe aliens do as well.

I believe in aliens, but that's about the extent of it. I mean, why would God create such a massive universe if we were going to be the only ones in it? The other paranormal things are either easily explained or really don't make sense. Like, how could the Loch Ness Monster survive thousands of years? And after nuclear testing done there, nothing living is left. So if it was there, it's been starving for the past 60 years.
