Do you leave your computer on when you're not using it?

I'm surprised by the fact that someone chose the "I always turn it off the instant I'm done using it." option.

I only turn if off when going places because I don't want to kill the battery. It's almost always plugged into a wall at this point.

I dont usually shut down my laptop if anything when I'm not using it I close it and it goes into sleep mode.

My laptop is always charging as I use it, so I don't have to worry about the battery going dead. So if I wanted, I could probably just leave it on. :U

 

But I choose to turn it off when I'm not going to be on for a while.

MacBook has a handy sleep mode. ^^ Just open it up, and boom, it's awake and working.

I always leave it on, but my parents tell me not to because it will burst on fire. and I'm like

I turn it off when im not using it because electricity isnt exactly free

I turn it off when I go to bed and when I'm going to leave I turn it off until I get back.

I keep it on if I'll be using it again in an hour or two, but otherwise I just turn it off when I'm done.

I usually turn it off when I won't be using it for a while. I think leaving electronics on for long periods of time isn't good for them. Since I shell out a chunk of my savings for my electronics, I want them to last as long as possible.

My computer overheats/freezes so easily if left on...

I hardly ever turn it off, but I do hibernate it over night though, and I see that as turning it off.

 

And i wonder why my computer is always so slow hahaha

i dont really turn my laptop off as much as close the lid (cause usually theres something i wanna work on and not loose )

Usually I just turn it off when I go to bed. If I'm doing homework I don't need my computer for, I turn it off so I won't be tempted to jump on it.

I usually put my laptop on hibernate mode when I'm done, and only really shut it off to restart or do updates, or when the battery dies.
