Did you skip over Chain of Memories?

Posted

tutti frutti. Before I knew enough about the series that the story had a timeline to it, I sort of accidentally skipped over Chain of Memories. Before I got the game I thought that it was something like a gambling type of game until later. Did anyone else really skipped over Chain of Memories before playing KH2? I know I did since it puzzled me like crazy trying to figure out how Sora and co. got into the pod at the beginning of KH2.

  • Every KH relates to it in some way. In BBS Castle Oblivion is developed, KH1 leads into it, KH2 leads out of it, it's vital to the plot of Days, and the ending of Coded. If you take the game out, have

Funny story -- I went to the store (a few years ago... 2009ish) and bought Kingdom Hearts 1. Came home, started playing it, and I was sooo confused! There were all these flashbacks, and none of the ch

  • When I was very young, I first played KH1. The concept of Disney really caught my eye (Disney was my life, heck everyone's life when they were super young.) and I played it. It was a blast. I never ac

I did but then again I didn't even know about com at the time.

yes but i came back to it later when i figured out there was a certain order to play the games in

I forced my OCD brain to play it, in the end it actually made kh2 a lot better, sort of like I had to eat the broccoli that was the card system in order to really enjoy the awesomeness that was kh2

Yeah I never beat the GBA version. I went straight from KH 1 to KH 2, then later I beat Re: CoM.

Yup, because of the fact that Re:CoM was never released in Europe, and I didn't know about the GBA version at that time.

Yeah , thanks for the Square logic, in europe, this game never releashed in ps2.

But I get this in manga :3 -sadly in german language xD

I did skip it, but that was because I hadn't realized how important COM is to the story.  After I completed KH1 and 2, I immediately turned around and played it.

I played most of CoM on an emulator, then I lost everything on the hdd of the computer and eventually bought the GBA game and beat it shortly before KH2 was released.  As for Re:CoM I'm actually playing through it  right now on my PS2

I did, but the funny thing is that I started to play KH series thanks to an advertisement of CoM xD. Anyway to tell the truth I had the possibility to play it with a friend (he had the GBA) after finishing KH I, so maybe it's not completely correct to say that I did skip it.
