Has a video game ever made you cry?

I'm surprised, I thought I was the only one who cried because of games.

Not really. But there was this one time that i was really moved. In the muppets game when ms piggy said i love you, oh. Deep stuff man.

i cried at some points in KH and i think once in KH2 i didnt really cry about Xions death idk why i mean yea i was sad but it was like meh oh well BbS had me get a few tears Crisis Core made me cry even though i knew what was going to happen it still made me cry Infamous2s evil ending made me cry the good ending had me at a few tears but not as bad as the evil one. i cant really remember any other games that got me tears or made me cray

OMIGOD, ARE YOU KIDDING?! I've told this story so many times on the site I've lost count. I couldn't finish the end of Days because I kept crying so much. I felt so sad and bad for the pain the Xion, Roxas and Axel went through. The music of the series makes me cry. The end of KHII gets me every time. Blank Points makes me bawl my eyes out. The only things that have made me cry are Titanic and the KH series. For someone who can't feel empathy towards death, it's a strange experience for me.

Days. Oh my gosh. HOW COULD XION DIEEE? ;_; I mean, I knew it was coming (in part due to someone accidentally spoiling it for me), but I still was in shock when it happened.

 

It broke my heart when Sora and Kairi let go of each other's hands at the end of KH. I was like "NOOOO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! WHY CAN'T YOU TWO BE TOGETHER!? SORA! JUMP! GO NOW!" ...And when she saw the drawing in the cave later.

 

And KH2. It was a happy kind of sad at the ending. I thought that was the end of KH (until BBS popped up and made things more complicated).

358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, MGS3... MGS3 again... MGS4... MGS4 again... and again...

nah, it's the games that make you emotional that show the plot is worth something .. i think it's important to feel like you have a connection with the characters ;}

I did cry at the end of Days and BbS. Simply because Xion's Theme is just so moving and you can't help but have something in your eye at that moment the same goes for BbS I remember thinking that it was one of the saddest ending to any KH game and it was just so powerful (Dearly Beloved really made me go when the song began to play), I really felt bad for poor Aqua and I couldn't help but cry.

I've only cried once in a film and that was Toy Story 3, like I properly cried. I still do if I watch it again

I cried during Xion's death and the KH1 ending. Main;y the KH1 ending made me cry more cause it took me years to beat the game.

I managed to keep from crying during Xion's death but then lost it when it showed her fading away during Roxas's fight with Riku. Same with BBS almost got through it and then... *sigh* crying Sora, the scene after the credits, and Blank Points T_T annnd of course Zack... WHY MUST HE DIE?? D':

Most of the time in video games characters stay alive in some shape or form. So not really.

358/2 when xion died and KH2 when Goofy "died" lol (of course I stopped when he was alive lol) but the funny thing is when goofy "died" that gave me motivation to kick major ass

Aqua story when she had to fight Terranort man I cried when she was helping him and then the ruddy bastard had to still be Xehanort and the guy who says Darkness or Kingdom Hearts in every sentence. Xions death I cried as well til Roxas started speaking where I went like "Wait what? You ruined the moment Roxas you really did." Shadow the Hedgehog's game at the end made me cry along with Secret Rings for some reason.

BBS made it way more complicated but that's Square for you and now at least you know how Xehanort came into the picture, who the armor belongs to, and who Ventus is after he was shown a bit with Xigbar in Days.

The only game that made me cry is Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Final Fantasy XIII 2 trailer when they show Vanille and Fang .

yup. I cry sometimes. xion's death and sora's sacrifice were few times when I cried. just so sad to see kairi when she sees that sora is disappearing

Just three times. Both from kh. The first Time when Donald and goofy left sora at hollow bastion, the second time was sora's sacrifice at hollow bastion, and the third time was - Well I think everyone cried for this one - xion's death of course. But then again pretty much the entire ending of 358/2 days had me bawling.

Oh and blank points! I forgot about that! Lol

FF10 ;-; I was laughing just till the end scene started and suddenly tears started falling ;-;
