No. There are a million and one things that could be wrong. The game could be canceled, the title may refer to something BESIDES a new game. There could be a shift in development drastic enough to require a name change.

The KH franchise is one of the SE franchises with one of the greatest fanbases and is really profitable. That is why there is no reason to cancel KH projects.

Referring to anything other than a game is unlikely too. As I said there is a chance that BBS v2 won't happen but it is VERY VERY VERY unlikely.

 

And the development issues could also occur with a confirmed title btw.

Ha ha. Another Side, Another Story and Deep Dive are just what the Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix's secret endings are called. They were previews to Kingdom Hearts II.

It was set in stone the very minute BBSFM was released, it may as well have been officially announced because we know it's coming. I completely agree. Actually not so much on the state of its development, but I don't see much more evidence on any one side to sway me.

I always thought that khbbs volume 2 was in reference to a future KH game, much like how Deep Dive and BBS (secret ending) were both in reference to a future game with various words and phrases in them. At the very least, bbsv2 could just be KH3 since in KHBBS is where the Xehanort saga began and KH3 is where the same saga would end. I don't think that it is a game, but only time will prove us otherwise.
