Wow you didnt get a brand new car in a shitty economy. I mean sure I would be kind of sad if I didnt get my 3DS, but I wouldnt say firetruck Christmas or anything. At least I would have my family.

It's simply amazing what this world can produce, including parasites. Really, people?

Wow, that is absolutely pathetic. It is okay to be a bit disappointed if you didn't get something you really wanted, but wow. I wonder what kind of rose tinted, sugar coated world they live in.

 

But hey, one positive came out of this. We can read that, and feel better about ourselves for not being so dang spoiled.

At least all of us work hard to earn valuable gifts. I will laugh at those people when they get shunted into low-paying jobs that don't allow them to buy any such thing!

Disgraceful really, But I wouldn`t blame the kids, they are after all a product of a materialistic society.

I hate people who act like this. Don't they realize how much their parents are struggling in this horrible economy? They're lucky to have a good to feed your ungrateful selves, and yet you're complaning that your iphone wasn't the right color? That they bought you an expensive car but not an iphone?

I asked for nothing but one 3DS game and got more than I could have expected. I was so grateful and made sure my parents knew it, because I know they can't afford to buy me things like this. I even got excited over a shirt and pair of gloves.

 

Sadly my brother is turning into one of those ungrateful children.

That's just unbelievable. How do kids think this kind of behavior is justified??? Like other people have said, a little disappointment is understandable, but saying "Firetruck you mom and dad!!!" is just awful and totally disrespectful, as if it's their right to have this expensive stuff, and the parents are required to buy it for them! At least you have a mom and dad, and at least they cared enough to get you something for Christmas, right? Just get a job and by that stuff yourself if you want it that badly!!!

 

And, come to think of it, their are millions of kids across the world who would just love to have some food to eat or clean water to drink! Cars and iPhones are completely irrelevant to them. Somehow, I just think it's pitiful looking at these comments. I can't help but feel sorry for them. My best Christmas will always be the year I didn't get anything. That year, I went back to my father's home to stay with his family. Instead of getting me presents, my dad and I went to the market in Concepción to get toys for families we knew wouldn't get much if anything. My dad, my uncle, and I dressed up as wise men (I even had coal from the fireplace smudged on my chin for a beard) and we walked to each house with presents to put in the shoes they left out. It was a lot of walking, but I will never forget the faces of the parents who were in tears for the gifts we brought. Technically, it was January 6th, but I still consider it Christmas. It just helps to remember that not everyone is rich and spoiled, and all over the world the spirit of Christmas still exists.

That reminds me of what happened yesterday...

 

So my sister's fiance wanted to get her something really special for Christmas and the one thing my sister wanted was a black leather bag. There were a few more details about the bag she wanted, but overall it was just a basic black leather bag. What does he do? He goes out and gets a black leather bag from the EXACT store she wanted it from and she throws a fit in front of everyone about how she didn't get the bag she wanted. She apparently wanted to bag that was NEXT to this one in the store.

 

I thought the bag was perfectly fine, and I thought my soon-to-be-bro picked fine and he was trying to act cool saying, "Oh... we can just return it no need to make a fuss..." but I'm pretty sure he was hurt by the way she reacted about it based off of the way he acted for the rest of the day...Seriously though my sister pissed me off when she did that... Every year she got pissed at all of us other siblings for pitching fits if we didn't get the gifts we wanted when we were younger but oh no it was perfectly alright for her to throw a fit this year...
