And while I have no problem with an age difference, heck I like older guys myself, I have to ask; how do you two get on? I mean, he would be a University student and for American-wise, you would be just starting Middle School. When put that way, I'm not sure how I feel about an age difference. It all depends on what type of person your boyfriend is, of course, but a Univerity student going out with a Middle School student. There's a lot of people that would make fun of that and people who would see it as a taboo.

I love him and he loves me. But we've never met in real life...

He moves closer to me when his school ends. 1,5 years...

We don't care about our age difference. Some years later it doesn't matter anybody. I could be 22 and he 27.

depending on where you live, someone who's 14 could be going into high school. it's still a big age gap, but not as big as uni-middle school.

It wouldn't really seem normal if they were 5 years younger. A 9 year old with a 14 year old. Doesn't really seem normal.

Like I posted in the "Help http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png" thread, I don't know what all these older men want with children, but its kind of disturbing to hear so many of you are SO YOUNG and dating much older guys. I believe in loving freely, gay rights and a lot of other stuff along those lines… I just find it odd that a man would want a child… If thats ever found out or caught, they can go to jail for that.

 

I love the innocence you guys have about this topic, and that love is love, but being an adult I know the severe consequences that could happen. When I was 14, I was dating a guy named Joey who was 17 and turning 18 soon. When my parents found out, I had to break up with him because my neighbors found out and got really concerned. I saw why though. Why would an almost grown man want with a child? I know you guys don't see yourselves as children and you think you know what you're doing, but you have to realize the outcome can be severe if caught. I get you might like older men/women, but can't you wait until you're at least 16?? Whats the rush?? I had my first serious relationship when I was 15 and it lasted until I was 20. When I was 12, 13, 14 years old I was least interested in love. I was playing at the park, doing school work, playing video games and doing normal child stuff (don't argue, you guys ARE children lol).. I don't know.. Maybe Im being overprotective, but if I was a mother I would definitely not allow my 13 year old daughter or son to date someone who was of legal age and an adult. Just no.

Obviously allowances are made for, like, a 17 & 18 year old couple, but not for two kids so far apart in age. If you were adults, I'd say go for it, it's perfectly fine. But being teenagers and teenagers generally not always making the smartest decisions with all the hormones racing, I'd say tell him to wait until you're older. If he's any good, he won't mind waiting those 4 years.

Thats why we get those feelings. They're usually never wrong. However, if you think he's worth it, stick with it. All Im telling you, is to be careful, thats all. Go with what you think is right and stay conscious ok? Im not criticizing or judging you. I just want to make sure my friends on here are safe

Me and my ex-girlfriend were 6 years apart, and we were a really good couple. Honestly, if you/he explain to your/his parents, and they're fine with it, then there should be no legal problem as long as you two watch what you do and don't push each other. That includes sex and stuff.

 

But, I feel that as long as there's true love there, then age is just a number. Keep the connection you have with the other person strong.

And I know we never get married, because he doesn't want to.

But I really love him. He is the best thing that's ever meen mine. I don't know how I could survive without him. I think you all already know how depressed I am...
