You obviously don't know because you're so young but The Ring was a really popular Japanese horror movie with a really scary antagonist known as Sadako (or as Samara in the American version) she's pictured above obviously and then kalnet is showing the actual actress who played her. PeoPle who know of the film are thinking, "How can someone so horrifying look like that?" Hence our reactions.

I'm pretty sure that her other friends have not seen it. The large majority of eleven year olds do not watch The Ring. I think in your case is different.

I wasn't acting like I know everything! I was giving my personal knowledge on how I believe people that young don't watch or know of The Ring. In fact, I didn't know of The Ring until I started reading manga and even then I didn't they had made an American remake of the film. If that's the way I learnt things who am I to question it? I just asked my sister if she or her friends know what The Ring is and she said no. So I retain my belief eleven year olds do not know what The Ring is. So I think maybe in my own way, but not others' I was right all along.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult or make seem like I looked down on you. I was only expressing my knowledge on pop culture of The Ring. And I did ask my sister if she or her friends know what The Ring is. She looked lost.

fine.... whatever.... but just dont claim a fact just because your sister and her friends are 11 years olds that doesn't mean others dont know the ring.... so dont argue about it

its ok i forgive you =)

I'm sure there are people under the suitable age (depending on your country) who have watched it. But I agree with TheApprenticeofKingMickey that people should follow the classification ratings. Their there for a reason.
