Seriously? I thought this game was supposed to fix everything that was wrong with XIII?

This game is getting worse reviews than XIII did!

There are more 1 star ratings than 5 star ratings. I mean wth?

And this is Japan were talking about... The Japanese are FF maniacs who love them some new Final Fantasy games....

  • It's not the gameplay that's bad. From what I've seen the game looks a lot funner than Final Fantasy X. (Yes I went there). It's the fact that Square Enix blatantly lied to it's true and loyal fans.

Another game with multiple endings? The Shadow the Hedgehog game :P

As for what I'm hearing about this, I have yet to play the first one, let alone the second. I do plan on playing FF XIII at some point, but I doubt this review will stop me from playing FF XIII-2. True, it probably is the case that the multiple endings suck, and that there are other lacking features to it, but I'm sure it's still a good game (like how people have mentioned the gameplay to be better than the second).

I'm excited for the multiple endings. I've been playing through Final Fantasy IX lately, and that game has a lot of chances for the player to choose their own path (much like what I've seen in FFXIII-2 so far). It's so enjoying for me to be able to alter the game or have a say in what I'm doing instead of following a set path. So, if that leads me to get one of the goofy endings the first time around, so be it. Like somebody else said above, the various endings give me reason to play the game over and over again and always get something new. I love that idea!

In X-2, there were multiple endings, and there was actually a good one. Are all the endings in XIII-2 bad?

I say they're bad because they are just ending that have nothing to do with the main plot. Honestly, how can you all like all these endings?

Man, that sucks. I was hoping XIII-2 would wrap up well (eg. Lightning comes back and Noel's time is saved).

Old RE games had multiple endings too.

I'm okay with multiple endings thing. Gives just more re-playing value. well, It depents just how much of those endings are.

tutti frutti. Thanks lizzie, definitely looking forward to the demo to help me decide on whether or not to get the game.

i not getting this game i rater get kingdom hearts ddd or super Mario 3d land

A game that I actually WANT having a demo that I KNOW ABOUT? Oh hell yes. :D

Just checked the Playstation store on my PS3, and unfortunately there was no demo. So I guess this was just a rumour...that turned out to be false.

Edit: Oops, it's real, if the comment on this article is true.

Edit 2: Yeah, it's real, I'm downloading it right now. But why must it take one hour+ to download?!

Because it's HD

There's literally no other reason.

I'm not getting the game period.

Played the demo.

I'm 100% glad I preoredered now, the game is such a massive step up, and this was just the demo.

All the new content is looking great, and strangely, the demo at least has a sort of inFAMOUS 2 vibe to it...

That sounds good. I love infamous 2. I can't wait to try the demo today after school.

Why are people, and myself, getting Final Fantasy XIII-2 if the main character of the game, Serah, dies at the end of the game? I mean I am paying $80 dollors to watch the main character of the game die in the end.

DLC is coming out where you can play as Lighting

I don't know, but I'm doing the same.

I guess its for the gameplay.

What a misleading title. I thought you would be talking about Kingdom Hearts.

i know right!? i got excited for nothing...
The answer is simple: everyone who buys this wants to see her die. I think killing off a main character is a brilliant idea myself.
