With the start of the year 2012, there are many franchises that are aiming to release new games. There’s Assassin’s Creed with Assassin’s Creed III, Kid Icarus with Kid Icarus Uprising and Ninja Gaiden with Ninja Gaiden 3. Of course, Square Enix haven’t been forgotten, as they are bringing us a brand new Kingdom Hearts game known as Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. And not only does 2012 bring a new Kingdom Hearts game, but it also celebrates ten years of Kingdom Hearts.

 

In conclusion, providing Dream Drop Distance lives up to the expectations set by Birth By Sleep, it will be a treat to all Nintendo 3DS owners who enjoy Action RPGs. Games such as Kid Icarus Uprising, Fire Emblem and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater should be trembling in their game cases, for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is heading their way and it’s going for Nintendo 3DS Game of the Year.

It is the most appealing game with no doubt. And not only that but it is the path towards the long awaited KH III by a lot of fans. I know some of them don't like the idea of more of what they call "side-stories" but they are fun and it gives the real team more time to make the game better and in the same time make players enjoyed for a while. And besides that, -as stated in that article- the graphics are nearly perfect as PS2 ones so it's like putting a console KH in your pockets and with that you get the best of both worlds. LONG LIVE SQUEENIX!!!

Since it looks like KH3D might rise to the ranks that KH2 did, I think we can expect it to be the most appealing 3DS game.

New Skyrim would win for sure.

There are still other games coming too, such as the new Zelda game for 3DS so I wouldn't count on that.

Being a hardcore gamer, I'm not that interested in the 3DS. 50% of my reason for purchasing it is for Kingdom Hearts 3D.

I can't wait for this game....oh lordie....I hope I have it in me to stay away from spoilers once it's released...being surpised and shocked while playing is so much fun. x''D

I can't buy a 3DS so i'm giving my sister 20 dollars for her to lend me it to beat Kingdom Dream Drop Distance. It was either get that and not play BBS or get the PSP. Obviously we see what I choose. The extra games keep us busy while they do other things and they also cover things we don't honestly know about because of there very large story plot on the games. If I didn't play BBS I wouldn't of been almost completely lost why there was a Roxas look-a-like....................

I don't see the game being named by editors as the general GOTY of 2012, but it is possible for it to be named 3DS GOTY

Oooh. I love console wars. The PS3 is actually very good with online things. It's definitely cheaper to do stuff online, too. If you use an Xbox for online stuff for 8 years, you've payed for 2 xboxes, but it probably broke in that time, so really it was 3 xboxes.
