So, do you plan to get the Wii U when it comes out? I plan on getting one ( but not exactly on the first day it comes out. Getting it when some games like Smash bros and Zelda come out for it). The graphics look great on it and I just know that it will have a great lineup of games over time. I am hoping that it will come with a VC where you can buy GameCube games. That would really convince me (and other Nintendo fans) to buy the Wii U.

Would love to play SA2B, , Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, and Paper Mario TTYD again. Those games made my childhood great. Would love to experience the GC days again.

Actually, nintendo officially stated that the Wii U is not a next gen console. But I might get it anyway since it will have a new Zelda and Smash bros game on it. But you shouldn't judge it all because of it's controller. That's like saying you are not getting PS Vita all because of it's touch screen on the back of the handheld. Nintendo ALSO stated that the controller for Wii U is not the official one. They are still working on the controller for Wii U. And said that we will all see the official design at this E3.

the graphics probably won't be awesome they probably be like Xbox 360 or PS3, and then sony and microsofts new consoles will have like 10 times the better graphics then Wii U

Its like Jesus touched the Wii. Now it has a new control, super powerful HD, and more games do to the fact that developers can make games like Skyrim on it. You do realize that Batman Arkham city is coming for it.

I would like to get the Wii U, but I'm not sure if I could afford it and I doubt my parents would get me one. Also, the only currently announced game that interests me is smash bros, which is coming to 3DS too. And Zelda.

I'll get one eventually, I mean I still play my Wii and I own a PS3 but yeah I don't see why I won't get one, I mean Super Smash Bros is coming to it (eventually ) and I am going to buy it for both the Wii U and the 3DS It's like the Vita I'm not going to get one until it's essential for me to own one, I only got a PSP for Birth by Sleep and even I didn't pay for a brand new one. I really don't like the PSP because I think the DS was way more fun............... BUT yeah I'm not getting a Wii U until I *really* need to.

Nope - I still love my Wii and get a lot of good use out of it.

i will only get it if they put a brand new kingdom hearts or assassins creed game on it. i know there is supposed to be an assassins creed game for it, but its not confirmed if its a port or a new game, completely.

Bingo. The Wii had no exclusive games that I would buy, except no More Heroes but they ported it!

Nah, I haven't played our current Wii in about two years. Haven't played an actual video game in about six months, so it would be a somewhat pointless purchase for me.

Yes, it's more a question of "when" for me. If the launch lineup includes Pikmin 3 it'll probably be a day one. Otherwise It'll probably my Birthday next year

I don't buy Nintendo home consoles, only the handhelds.
