AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sooooo.... I was playing BBS the other day and MYYYYYYYYY god the PLOTHOLES!!!!!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

1. Mickey hears of Master Xehanort in BBS and in the scene after BBS where Mickey meets up with Ansem the Wise, Xehanort comes in and interrupts them and asks about his experiment and Ansem clearly says the name "Xehanort" and he does nothing about it.

2. Donald and Goofy hear of keyblades in BBS and see Yen Sids tower, yet they seem to have never heard/seen either of those.

Buuuuut I guess thats the problem when you write backwards >_>

I suppose a mouse, dog and duck don't have very a good memory...

Donald and Goofy recognize the Tower in KH2, they just didn't expect to end up there.

As for Xehanort... Mickey's a busy guy. How's he supposed to notice verything?

1. well there could be another guy with name xehanort around kh universe. Mickey didnt even know that xehanort took over terras body.

2. well i guess they havent been in there since BBS, so they might have forgotten it during the time.

1: Mickey was probably under a lot of stress, what with having designed the Gummie Ship system, making countermeasures for if the realm of light was to ever come into danger, having to rule over a kingdom and who knows what else. He probably didn't register it in his mind. From his knowledge, Master Xehanort was an elderly man with a keyblade and powers of darkness. Xehanort, at that time, was a young man, working as an apprentice for Ansem the Wise, without any knowledge of his dark powers.

2: Well, 3D has shown us that Yen Sid's tower was once a part of a much larger world. It could be, for example, that Yen Sid had the castle seperated originally only for Mickey's training and the two weren't expecting it to be still there as it was. And if you think about it, in KH2, their memories had just been rewritten and Naminé was focusing her time on Sora. It wouldn't surprise me if she just completely forgot about their memories, apart from the ones about Sora.

And the two do seem to know what keyblades are. I mean, they're told to go and find a 'key' and when they go looking, they fully realise that the 'key' is a keyblade. And I doubt there were ever told or shown in detail what a keyblade actually does, minus being a weapon and a medium for magic.

In KH2 Donald and Goofy do recognize Yen Sid's tower, and even explain to Sora that's where Mickeys teacher lives.

Yen Sid is a very powerful man. He doesn't just sit in his tower all day, everyday. He is like the Commander in Chief on how to protect the safety of other worlds from succumbing to darkness. He's obviously a very busy man. I'm sure he's gone a lot. And like what Kingblade King 12 said, Namine probably didn't bother putting back together all their lost memories.

Lives is the operative word in that sentence. Like I said, Donald and Goofy probably weren't aware that Yen Sid was living there, if their memories were fully intact anyway.

To be fair, there is no point in the game that Mickey specifically hears the name "Xehanort." He encounters him once and falls to him. By the end of the game he is too preoccupied with aqua and ven to even glance in Xehanort's direction.

Mickey did warn Ansem about Xehanort, actually. It makes since for him not to react with Xehanort in the room as that would draw suspicion. As for Donald in relation to Yen Sid's location, the area around the Mysterious Tower probably seems different. Or maybe he thought Yen Sid only temporarily occupied the place for his work, like teaching Mickey, not actually residing there.

Xehanort is most likely a common name in the KH universe. I mean its an anagram for "No Heart". Thats what every mother would want to name their child.

1. Yeah, Mickey should have kicked his butt right then and there. It would have saved Sora&Co. a lot of trouble.

2. Maybe when Donald said "here" he was referring to Twilight Town. He may have assumed that It was part of that world.
