Days was sad. But I would have cried if it wasn't for this:

"Who else will I have ice cream with?!"

The worst of them all was Final Fantasy Type-0. It was Crisis Core x12. I couldn't believe the pain and suffering that it displayed. I don't speak Japanese, but the scene moved me so much.

Ending Spoiler to game not out in America yet bellow.

Basically 12/14 of the main cast all sit in a destroyed classroom, covered in blood, dying and crying hysterically. Then the main character begins to sing a song and everyone calms down. Then all twelve kids sit in a circle and talk about how bright the future is and what they are going to do tomorrow. They talk about going to school and taking their Mother with them. Then one of them makes a bad joke and they all begin to laugh. Close up on each one of them beaming, and then a girl says "Now I know I'm not alone."

Cue Credits.

Suddenly, the last 2 Characters (Machina and Rem) burst into the room and freeze. The other 12 kids are lying, huddled next to their flag, all holding hands, dead. Machina runs up to them and starts screaming and crying. Then one of the kid's cards floats out of his hands (a playing card) and flies up into the sky and makes a rainbow. The boy's voice says that he'll be with Machina and Rem.

He meant who else will be his friend. Roxas was born without memories of feelings as Sora, and most of the Nobodies are emotionless, so they don't have feelings, Roxas believed that since he didn't remember what "feelings" were like and he asked Axel what friends were. Axel explained, but he didn't fully understand and thought friends were people who had ice-cream together, and he he had Ice-cream with Xion and loved her as a friend, but he didn't knew that was love, since he believed he didn't have emotions.

To sum it up, Roxas doesn't like to have ice-cream with Axel /joke

The "Who else will I have Ice cream with?!" sort of made it even sadder for me. It sort of was like a small child losing his best friend, and him not fully comprehending it. It also shows the "Ven" in him.

^^

Very Well Put.

No, I think he thuroughly enjoyed it. He just had a big fight with Axel though, so I think ice cream is out of the question.

I understand what it meant. It's just that the way Roxas said it kinda made it slightly funny. Because I would not expect that. I know it was meant to be expressed that way.

FUUUUUUU- all that typing was for nothing?!?! Aqua, thank you so much.

The first thing that popped into my mind was the 358/2 Days ending. Yea the ice cream line was pretty goofy, but made it even more sad for me, then I cried even more when it cut to the scene of Axel opening the envelope with the "winner" stick inside it, idk by then I felt like everything had fallen apart for the three of them. Those two scenes get me every time sad to say :P

:troll:

Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Winning only means that you've doomed everyone to not exist, and there's nothing you can do about it.

well, i don't normally admit this, but any game with a sad ending normal goes tearful for me, but i'm still waiting for a game that does that throughout the story

oh this was bad ........ i regret playing the game because of this ending (_)

Days was definitely saddening. Unlike most people though, I thought that ice cream line made it sadder. It would be stupid if he just said, "who else will be my friend" or something like that. I love when the kh games say something like that, instead of being plain and boring.

The first kh was sad too, remember, even though sora could have just jumped that. Lol.

Prob Days and the first KH cuz I was sad that the best game ever was over.

Days and BBS made me shed a tear, and it's hard for Rob to shed a tear.

I think 358/2 Days has the saddest video game ever if you ask me. It's one of the few things that has ALMOST brought me to tears.

Anyone who doesn't think that Red Dead Redemption didn't have the saddest ending ever is a communist.

Oh and firetruck spoilers because the game has been out for two years. John Martston goes through hell, killing his former allies just to get his family back, when that happens the government betrays him and in the ultimate sacrifice John Marston makes a final stand and gets gunned down so his family can escape their troubling life. Everyone cries for 5 hours

BUT

John Marston's son, Jack eventually hunts down the man that betrayed his father and has a duel in which Jack guns down. You think it's a happy ending BUT Jack marston realizes that he has just entered a life of crime, the exact thing his father fought to stop him from going through. Making everyone sad again...

And the biggest problem Roxas has to deal with?

WHO WILL BE HIS ICECREAM BUDDY?

Shadow of the Effing Colossus

Am I the only one who didn't cry at the end of Days? It was sad, but wasn't enough to get me teary-eyed.

Hotel Dusk was just...bawwww. ;A;

I felt nothing when i finished Days however Red Dead Redemption,SOTC,Limbo and MGS3 had saddest ending i can think of.

Owe come on how is days sad when roxas did the "Who else will i eat ice cream with" Line i was laughing my ass off game with a sad ending though good one might be actual cant think of any maybe prince of persia because elica died but then the prince brought her back braking the demon gods prison opening and set everything you did in the game back completely
