No not really,I too am having my doubts

Actually I prefer traditional controls over the newer ones....even though the newer ones have a bit more flair to them. The leveling sys. in Re:coded was pretty cool but

I for one LOVED the panel sys. It made the game much more challenging and strategic as well. Personally, I would love if there was an option to change the system

between traditional and new like in the configuration menu. NOW THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

..............................

I loved Panel system.

Re: Coded was ok but I didn't like it much.

This game is shaping up to have a very good command styling system.

Edited by Kinode

The panel system is great!

But add that to Re:coded's playstyle and that's one heck of a game!

He says it's going to be a mix of the Days and Re:coded systems, but honestly, from the trailers it looks a LOT like the BBS system.

Im a little confused on that myself i mean from what it looks like it just looks like the same as BbS style but I don't know, hopefully it will be understand able, the only thing i hated about the days command thing was that whole level pannal and that you can only have a certain number of times you can use a magic i liked that whole you use a command and than it takes some time untill you can use it again like Birth by Sleep i liked that but hopefuly lets just see what will be like

I didn't think 358/2's system was that bad, but then again i never got the opportunity to play BBS. I look forward to the game either way, I'm sure Tetsuya knows what he's doing.

As much as I loved the plot in Days, I can't really call the gameplay excellent (but at least I thought it was much better than the card system in CoM, becuase for me anything is better than the cards)

its not exactly like the bbs command but i really dont care what command system it is , Really we are getting a KH game after a lil while without a new one just be happy with them not taking 9 years with this one *cough*KH3*cough*

It looks like it'll be kind of a mix of Re:Coded and BbS. Then again, they always look easier to use in the trailers...

Firaga was much better than fire in Days..I liked the panel system actually but thats just me..My prefered command system overall would be BBS's though.

What is the panel system?

What is the panel system?

The command/ leveling/ magic system used in Days..You get panels to install to use as keyblades, magic, leveling, abilities etc etc

Thank you :) I think it's so much better than CoM

YW..and yes i agree ..

:) Why do you prefer it over CoM 's? Wait, it could be the reloading card thing, right?

so... DDD is gonna have a command style with the mix od Days and Re:coded.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I liked Re:coded's style the best. Because it was the same as BBS, but the leveling system was more fun.

I'm also gonna say Days has the WORST. The Panel system was AWFUL and the commands where hard to use, and quite useless.

Seriously. In Days, don't you notice how Fire is better than Firaga!? What the heck Square Enix!?

Anyway, Am I the only one a little scared about the command styling now?

You are definitely not. As soon as I read that it will have a mix of both i got a bit scared. I don't like Days' panel system. I kept getting frustrated having to find a way to get all the things i wanted to fit while still having enough cures. I was also annoyed at the fact that Cura, and Curaga were very different compared to Cure. Like Cura heals you over time (not bad but scared the crap outta me when i first used it and thought it'd heal me right away), while Curaga makes you stand in a circle to get healed.

Panels were too restrictive and Coded needlessly complicated the command system, which I thought was fine as is. They probably have their easons for trying it though.

:) Why do you prefer it over CoM 's? Wait, it could be the reloading card thing, right?

Im just not as fond of the card system although its not so bad after you get used to it. I hated having to choose HP,CP,or sleights every time i leveled. Sora is only as strong as the deck you build him in this system.

I'm a little worried as well. I didn't like the spells in Days at all, fire is way better than firaga because fire was homing. The panel system in Coded was alright, could have been better. I think we won't have to worry TOO much though. It seems like they are taking some good lengths to make DDD into a great game. We shall have to see when it comes out.

Ok let me re-frase this.

Yes the panel system is nice. however. it's nice because it adds STRATEGY. Kingdom Hearts is not a STRATEGY game. If you want strategy go play Fire Emblem. Best strategy games ever made.

The Magic in Days was INSANELY annoying because the better the magic, the harder it was to hit. And cura and cura where WAY BETTER than curaga. (Hated having to stand in that little circle) (But Days was awesome because of story on EPIC multiplayer)

Also some of you are saying: "But it looks like BBS." I agree. it LOOKS like it. But in the latest interview they said it would be like days and Re:coded.

and... why the hate on COM? I for one, LOVED the card system. it was strategy, but it was ok because COM IS a strategy game sorta. (i'm talken GBA COM. never played PS2 version)

HERE IS MY THEORY ON DDD'S COMMANDS!

----

To me, it looks like the Dream Eaters your using are your commands. You can have 2 dream eaters right? Well it looks like only 2 commands, so i'm thinking maybe the dream eaters ARE your commands. just a guess. : /

To answer your question on why I didn't like CoM's gameplay:

1. No Blocking (unless you had a 0 or higher card the moment the enemy is attacking, which means searching for the right card, while the enemy is still attacking)

2. When I don't have the right card to go through the door necessary to continue the plot, there were times when it literally took me an hour or two just to get the one card necessary to continue

3. Reloading was annoying (although it was a bit better when playing as Riku, but that's not saying much)

Maybe it's like Days, every Keyblade have unique combos, and has command system from Re:Coded
