This is just speculation; but if it's true then we could see this console as early as November 2013. Now, as far as I understand, Versus is "supposed" to be released that year. And if that's the case, Kingdom Hearts 3 is only going to start development after Versus release. So the absolute EARLIEST we could see KH3 is 2015. If this console gets released winter 2013 I have a feeling KH will entirely skip this current console generation... =/

 

From what they're saying about the console right now (as well as Xbox's Durango,) they might get rid of Backwards compatibility, and even worse, not being able to play used games at all. This makes me not want to even consider buying it, as much as a Sony fan I am. However if they announced titles such as KH3, I think I would sadly open up my wallet...

It's all false, btw. That's why Sony commissioned the Kara video from the makers of Heavy Rain. Everybody waas asking them, "Well now that Microsoft has said they're producing their next console, what are you guys gonna do?" And they were basically like, "...do? We don't have to DO anything. THIS is what our system can already do."

 

Whatever Microsoft is making next, they're making it just to catch up with the PS3. Sony has already said they have no reason to make a new one.

That's not exact how business works. The PS3 is a powerful console, yes, but it's hard to use. Sony has spent most of its lifespan trying to catch up with the technologically inferior competition. And clearly Sony still hasn't leanrt their own lesson (See Vita)

Yes I would I mean I still use a PS2. I would really like to get a PS3 at some point seeing as the TV hates the Xbox systems but likes the Playstation stuff. Man I just want the game to come out so we can play it and finally kill Xehanort.

No really, when I get out of high school, I am going to head straight to their main headquarters and then go talk to them about bringing my ideas to life, that way I get to share my work and they get to make more money. Its a win win for everyone!

So you see my point. By the time KH4 comes out, I will be one working highly with Disney, and so there is a possibilty that I might be allowed to help out with KH4 in someway. How cool would that be? Although, I would not be allowed to tell you guys anything.

I think if KH 3 comes out for "PS4" i would buy it,cause i just boght my ps3 because i thought kh3 would be released on it T.T but lets not forget that tetsuya and the KH team are working in top secret as he said in an interview and i hope its kh3 ^^

I really hope this "Playstation Orbis" isn't even being considered right now. I think the PS3 still has lots of potential. I won't be buying it until years later or after I've tried it. Even if KH3 was announced to be a launch title, I wouldn't buy it. Okay.. maybe I'd WANT to. But if it's as much as the PS3 cost when it first came out, I'll be waiting it out

Putting KH3 on the new Playstation would be a bad decision on Square Enix's part. They wouldnt make as much cash as they would if they put it on PS3

i wish you luck with your dreams, but you're getting ahead of yourself if you think you're just going to WALK into disney's headquarter's, talk to them and immediately start working with them. besides, disney doesn't really do much of the work on kingdom hearts, square enix does. they pretty much just look at it and say what they want to stay and what they don't want to stay.

I'd buy whatever console KH3 comes out on, considering I bought a PS2 solely for the originals (1&2). Hoping it'll come out on a PS3, because that's... within a decent price range and doesn't have a couple years til release or whatever. If KH3 comes out on a reeeeeally new console (say, a new console that comes out in a couple years), I won't be happy. :L

Ew no, that PlayStation Orbis sounds horrendous. I'd hope it's for PS3 or Wii U. If not, then I'd either play the game with one of my friend's "Orbises" or get it for a cheap price or near the end of its lifetime.
