So guys, at the end of the DDD, we see Lea being bad ass as always.

So, Lea got a keyblade, yay.

Now, the question i want to do is...

Is Terra's wooden keyblade a toy, or a ''noob'' keyblade?

Because, if it was an actual Keyblade, could this have made Lea be able to summon the Keyblade in the future?

I mean, okay, his heart is now light-y and he can summon it, but i don't think just having a ''light-heart'' makes you able to have a Keyblade, because, look at the 6 princesses, they are pure lights, as we all know, but aren't able to summon it.

I thought so too o.o Maybe Lea's got a Keyblade before he became a Nobody... Maybe he couldn't (or didn't want) to use a Keyblade as Nobody, because of some reasons. And then, shortly after he became a Somebody again (Ten years later) he show it to everyone.

I just think he didn't even knew he could. He even looked kinda surprised when he summoned it.

Maybe Terras wooden keyblade was a noob keyblade. I mean Ventus can easily just take it from his pocket (xD) so i guess there is some magic in it. If thats so, Lea and Sora are both Ventus successors. Maybe Axel didnt wanna reveal his ability to other members, cause it would have included too much work for him.

Sora summoned Vens Keyblade at first, i believe Ven had the ceremony when Sora touched his Keyblade, even though hes inside him.

Also, i believe youre right man, i thought this exact same thing.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I mean, Yen Sid looks suprised the Lea got one, so he definitely didn't hold a ceremony with him. I wonder if it's possible that he picked up the ability through Axel touching Roxas' or Xion's keyblade(s) but really, I don't think he just learnt how to use one. Everyone so far, seems to have had gone through a ceremony to be able to wield a keyblade, so I think it might be safe to assume that Lea gained the ability to wield one when he touched Ven's wooden keyblade.

Sora summoned Vens Keyblade at first, i believe Ven had the ceremony when Sora touched his Keyblade, even though hes inside him.

Just bc he summoned the KK that doesnt mean he has a keyblade bc of Ven . Nomura said regardless of Ven Sora woulda been able to wield bc he was always chosen. So even if Vens heart wasnt in there it wouldve chosen Sora anyways when it rejected Riku.It might have taken the form of KK bc of Ven but its not why Sora can wield.

Do you think it chose Sora as a last resort?

Why can't we just assume that the keyblade choose him as a worthy person? The wooden keyblade could just be a sign that he would be able to use it in the future and how about the first keyblade wielder? Do you guys really believe that he got it from a ceremony?

I think it chose Sora bc his heart was worthy since he was meant to wield one it naturally was attracted to him first since he was closest by .

Do you think it chose Sora as a last resort?

Yes Riku's keyblade chose him because Riku had given in to darkness but Sora was born with the the ability to wield a keyblade it was his destiny to wield one taking Riku's sped up that process

So Sora was a born Keyblade wielder, and Ven just so happen to find the heart of a natural born Keyblader, what are the freakin odds. Thats pretty dope.

I thought that was the only way to get one correct? Through ceremony?

Mickey: "Congratulations, Riku!"

Lea: "Well, I'm gonna catch up to you pretty soon too."

Sora: "Huh? You're gonna be a Keyblade Master, Axel?"

Lea: "Yeah. I came here so I could become able to wield the Keyblade."

Sora/Riku: "Whaaaat!?"

Lea: "What's with that! You guys are pretty rude! I planned on showing up all cool and holding my Keyblade this time around! But I still wasn't able to manifest it, after all... it's not as simple as you'd think--"

[Keyblade appears]

Lea: "Oh."

Everyone: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?"

Thats probably why Vens heart searched out Soras for help in the first place .We have assumed that a ceremony is a must but there can be exceptions. Things happn(like Sora) .Omega had a good point about the first keyblader lol

I think Yen Sid might have done the ceremony with Axel

I assumed the "first" wielder is the one that created it maybe.

From the translations I've seen on various youtube videos Lea tells Riku and Sora that he planned to come to Yen Sid to become a keyblade wielder, but he couldn't summon it yet. He then reaches out his hand and a keyblade appears and even Lea himself is surprised saying huh. My guess is that Yen Sid performed the ceremony for Lea, but nobody thought he'd be able to summon his keyblade so quickly hence the reason Yen Sid himself was surprised.

No Yen Sid was suprised he summoned it too

Yeah that sounds good too, im just confused on how some people get the Keyblade, i thought a Ceremony was necsasarry

In KHWiki is says that Sora was able to use the KEyblade when Vens heart fused with his own. Look.http://www.khwiki.net/Keyblade

wiki sites are not the most are not the most accurate sources Nomura stated that Sora was destined to wield a keyblade

I also believe this is most likely. Even with a ceremony a keyblade must choose you so i think Yen Sid was surprised how fast this occured.

Yeppers xD

Ceremonies are never necessary. Look at Sora, he never got the ceremony. Ven being inside Sora(inside Sora, not fused with his heart) had nothing to do with Sora gaining a Keyblade.

Riku and Sora both had strong hearts as kids, but Riku's was stronger. In KHI, when Riku let the darkness take control, he was weakened, and the Keyblade decided to choose the next worthy person closest to the action, which was Sora. Ven's heart has been dormant inside Sora for over ten years. It can't do a thing for him. And their hearts can't be fused(like Terra and MX) because if they were, then Ven's heart wouldn't have stayed in Sora's body, becoming Roxas. It would have become that same heartless we play as in KHI.

Also, another thing to note. There's this little theory going around which I find pretty interesting.

When both Sora and Riku are covered in darkness on Destiny Islands, we see Sora reaching out for a light. The theory states that the light we see is actually the Keyblade laying inside Riku's heart. Sora reached for it and took it, which caused it to transfer. The Keyblade wasn't necessarily Sora's yet, as Riku takes it back in Hollow Bastion, but when Sora proved that his heart was stronger, the Keyblade permanently went to Sora. And then it states that in KHII, when Kairi was being piled with Shadows, Rikunort went into that darkness and pulled out her Keyblade, and that's how she got her's. Remember that she got her ceremony accidentally, too.

I just found that pretty interesting to think of. :P

Never heard of a transfer, but dont take Vens heart lightly, he is the reason Sora is able to dual-wield and he gave Sora his armor whenever he fell into darkness, Ven still has some kick in him lol

i think leas going to have something to do with kh3
