What are your opinions of him? Including the opinions of him being the Final Boss of the entire game?

Um...I really want a better clue to what he actually was. I think he was like this physical representation of Sora's darkness and nightmares. If that's what he was, then that is definitely the best final boss I think we could have had for this game. Xemnas, Ansem SOD and YXM all severed as great boss battles, but really it'd be boring if one of them were the final boss of the game. (Don't know about all three of them, that could have been awesome.) So, fighting against the doubt growing inside Sora, defeating it once and for all before the fight with Xehanort. That's genius!!

health bars as the previous bosses before him to make him a TRUE final boss! Ansem SOD in both forms had about 10-12 health bars on him and YMX had (in all stages of

 

the battle) a total number of 15 health bars. So by making the final boss have just 4 kinda makes me wonder why. Still I think he's alright for a final boss in both story-wise

 

and gameplay-wise, I just think he shouldn't have such a gap in health with the previous 2 bosses.

Ven gave Sora his armor to protect him, yet he STILL got corrupted?

I agree with you. I mean heck, the two secret bosses had more HP than him. However, from what I've seen, he is just as difficult than the other bosses. (But seriously 4 HP bars. That's weak, even for Square Enix)

I don't think that's exactly what it happen. Ven's armor protected Sora from being corrupted by the darkness, but the darkness itself was so strong that started to move Sora's armored body as a puppet. Think about Venom, Spiderman's foe. When he was just his new "black suit", the symbiote used to dress him up and control his body while he slept, without knowing what he was doing.

Ursalink describes it well. It could be sort of like a "Venom vs. Spider Man" scenario where Sora's darkness took over the armor instead of Sora like a puppet but without getting to Sora.

 

On another note, I want to throw out Vanitas being involved in the armour becoming what it is and Ven's light protecting him as much as possible but only to an extent.

 

But Vanitas is a real mystery in this game in terms of his involvement so I'm not going to assert anything for him until we get more subs up.

Does anyone think the Nightmare Armor should have a cape? Is it possible if the crew decided the Keyblade Armor being without capes for the final design?

i swere to god i will kill the team that makes kh 3 if they dont add in cape armors!
