Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Only the Avatar was the master of all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless Fire Nation from conquering the world. But when the world needed him most, he disappeared. Until now... On the South Pole, a lone Water Tribe village struggles to survive. It's here that a young Waterbender named Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange boy named Aang from a cavernous iceberg. Not only is Aang an Airbender--a race of people no one has seen in a century--but they soon discover that Aang is also the long lost Avatar. Now it's up to Katara and Sokka to make sure Aang faces his destiny to save the tribe--and himself. Did we mention he's only 12?

Republic City is everything that Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko fought for when they ended the Hundred Year War. With balance restored to the four nations, benders and non-benders can live together in peace, in this thriving metropolitan area. But even the steampunk paradise of Republic City has its problems, as the next Avatar discovers. When Avatar Korra arrives in Republic City to master her airbending, she comes face to face with criminal bending gangs as well as members of a vocal anti-bending revolution. Before long, Korra's Avatar skills are put to the test when she encounters a group of Chi-blockers led by the charismatic and mysterious Amon, who threatens the city and all the benders in it. Despite the immense danger, Korra vows to fight the growing anti-bending revolution. But will she be able to stop Amon before he rises to power and makes his vision of a bending-free world a reality?

I hate you all.

You just made me watch both episodes and I have a report to write...

Looks great though. I miss Sokka.

I love ATLA. :D Only seen the first few minutes of Korra, I still don't like the idea of a series without Aang... but I'll give it a chance seeing as so many people have been saying how good it is.

I feel the exact same way. I've enjoyed the first two episodes!

So Katara, what did happen to Zuko's mother?

OMG ZUKO UR NOT DEAD

Daughter? O.o

What I really want to know (other than what happened to Zuko's mom) is what happened to Azula? Apparently she was sent to an insane asylum after the war ended but I want to know if she ever left the asylum (or broke out) and if she had any children.

Most likely not. She probably ended up killing herself.

ATLA's "The Promise" comics is said to eventually reveal what happened to her mother but so far nothing yet has been said. >:
  • 2 weeks later...

I was thinking of making one of these... YES! No longer necessary, May I join? 8D

Just saw Korra and it's already 1000 times better than the original show.

I agree in some ways. I do wish they'd make more funny scenes like the old one, but I do understand that everything is more serious and maybe it will loosen up a bit more. Or maybe, MY SISTER IS RUBBING OFF ON ME! I must stop being as picky as she is! LOK IS AMAZING.

One of my favourite scenes. Both the first one and LOK have always had amazing voice acting! And yes, I'm a Makorra fan. ^^' I AM NOT ASHAMED.

So...I'm officially BolinxKorra.

I don't know really maybe if it was longer (as in more episodes) and had time to focus and develop on it more I would appreciate it more but the way they're having it played out now is really just... not all too great.

Don't get me wrong I still really REALLY love the series!! I just wish that aspect of it was handled differently. xD

Yeah, me too. But I think they're skipping a lot of time between serous and light-hearted episodes. I mean, she's already getting good at Airbending, right?

So.... Makorra is legit?

Officially, yes. But so is BolinxKorra.

This episode did something unexpected.

It completely supported all the shippings

and somehow opposed them all, too, at the same time.

Yeah, I laughed most of the episode.

Yeah, I laughed most of the episode.

It made me laugh at times too lol

Not cause it was funny, but because it was kinda stupid.

It was also kinda hopeful. It didn't cement any relationships, but it still showed-

Firetruck that. Bokorra all the way.

This episode made me not like Mako as much. He's kind of a jealous jerk. He has a hot gf and as soon as Bolin tries to make a move on Korra, Mako gets jealous. I like Bolin and it made sad when he cried (though the way he was crying was utterly hilarious xD).

EDIT: oh and I'm joining this fanclub lol

Why haven't I seen this yet? ADD ME PLEASE.

Anywho, I squealed like a little fangirl when Korra and Mako kissed. But the romance is kinda rushed.. wished they let their friendships develop a bit more. Oh well Makorra ftw. Poor Bolin...laughed so hard at the way he cried though.

I love Avatar the Last Airbender (own all 3 seasons) and Legend of Korra! Korra is firetrucking funny!!

I can't wait for the next episode tomorrow!
