ok, 2009 is over, and i was looking to see how high up i was on the post count ladder (i'm number #21). so then i just thought about who is the highest poster. so in acsending order, here are the top ten posters of 2009:

Can I add on and say that if we didn't count random in the post count, majority of the member's post counts would be halved, if not more than that? Including mine and some of the other moderators.

 

I mean, it took me basically a year to get to 2,000 posts ( and I really could care less about post count, btw. .) and watched some people spend a large amount of time in random, and reached that count within a month or so.

Now, let me just say I think that the word "Best" and the word "Top" is unfitting. Instead of "Best" or "Top" , the title should be something along the lines of "The 10 most highest post counts of 2009."

 

A "The Top 10 BEST Posters Of 2009" thread, or list should consist of a group of people who actually contribute to the community more than mostly the random section. No offense to anyone, but people like Cricket, Silia, or Rixam for example and they don't have high posts counts.

i agree, so i've fixed the title now.

i would have done the best contributers, but it would take me weeks to search through all the posts and tally them up
