I would ask myself how my life turned out to see if it really does go to shit like i think it will since im not helping myself set up a good life

i wouldn't ask, that would ruin the surprise. i would just start some conversation or just stare at future me

I'd call my future self a failure. He'd naturally hit me (as that's what I would do), and he'd hurt himself at the same time because he hurt me.

 

Then we'd laugh about it cuz we're both stupid.

I would be very careful not to get stuck in a time paradox though. In other words, trying to prevent my future only accomplishes exactly what I didn't want to happen in the future. I got that way BECAUSE I tried to change things around.
