If there's a demo of a game I'm thinking about buying, I definitely play it. And sometimes I just download demos to see what a random game's about.

Sometimes if I am not sure what the game is about lol but I download demons demos from time to time :)

I only did this once.... (unless Minecraft counted or something)

I had the special Metroid Prime that had a Metroid Prime 2 bonus disk. But no downloads

The demos I usually play are of games i never end up buying. I just play the demos so I can try other games without spending any money.

i don't really do this but only if it's a really good game

I've only done it once, for FFXIII-2

tutti frutti. So far only with a couple games. Most of the time I youtube a game that I'm interested, but only if I don't care for the story about the game. If I do, I usually get the words of my fellow gamers about it before I decide, or at the very least get a used copy from gamestop.

I rarely play demos for games, unless I'm not sure that I'm going to get it. Like Asura's Wrath. I had never heard of it, until the demo came out. I played it, loved it, bought it, and loved it some more. It is currently sitting on my shelf.

I always download demos of games, but I wouldn't download a demo of KH because I want to experience the full game.

downloaded all the ones on the 3ds

I have several on my 3DS, I do it to get a feel the game (which im unsure of ) before buying it!

Very rare I'll play a demo and then purchase the game. It's only happened once before and that was LEGO Star Wars: II The Original Trilogy.

Also Lu Xun, you can play demos without downloading them. You can play them at an event or use a demo disc.

I've never has the oppurtunity, but that would be really cool to do. The closest I've ever come was seeing videos on Youtube, which works pretty well for the plot, not so much for gameplay.

I usually download a game if I really like it, course that way I can trial it first so that I can play a little of a game (even though I never buy the full version afterwards as its not worth it) x

I look at the demos before buying the actual game.

It obviously depends on the game, I rent games now more then caring for a demo, tbh.

Usually only if i'm on the fence about it.

I'm really suprised at how many people don't play demos. It's the first thing I look at when the PSN updates.

Sometimes, I looked at a demo for Tales of the Abyss.

Sometimes, I see videos of them on youtube or borrow of someone. That's what hapenned with KH2.

I usually download a demo, if there is one, of a game I am thinking about getting, but I am not sure if I really want it or not.

I had a few PS3 demos, but I have every 3DS demo that was available for download. Don't ask why, I have no good answer. I suppose they are pretty lengthly, so they are basically games themselves. Ok, there's my good answer.

On the PC I always download a demo first, just to make sure I can run the game properly.

On consoles I'll download a demo if it's a game from a series I haven't played before or from a lesser known company or company that has a bad reputation.

The only demos I have are from the PlayStation magazine, in the times of the PS1.

I still have the Spyro 3 demo ^^
