Most people who don't follow the series don't know a whole lot about Cell, Buu, Baby, Omega Shenron, etc. Then again, Vegeta might be a better fit, since he has been Goku's rival for a very, very long time. Plus, it still fits with Dissidia's "guidelines," so to speak.

July 3, 201213 yr I came to this topic thinking it had to do about Dissidia Final Fantasy, and I find Dragon Ball z related Dissidia. MINDFUDGE! But yeah, I would just go with Goku and Vegeta, I mean seriously, their rivalry is legendary, plus, Vegeta's voice actor is Christopher Sabot, the same voice actor that does the voice of Garland. And yeah, I've always been a Vegeta fan. His pride and his selfish attitude are frickin awesome. TEAM VEGETA! =D

To answer your question, I'd say Frieza. Frieza killed many innocent lifes including Krillin, Vegeta(not really), and almost Piccolo. He threatened to destroy Earth as well. Vegeta was really just Goku's rival like... Cell didn't really kill anyone close to Goku. He didn't have too many reasons to hate Buu either. Frieza has definitley caused the most emotional trauma for Goku. It's because of Fireza that Goku went Super Saiyan.
