I just meant ones we give.  I did some analyzing and apparently each like refreshes individually.  So if you gave one at 11:50 PM and another at 11:54 PM, one will refresh 11:50 PM the next day and the other on 11:54 PM, but who remembers the time when they actually give all 20 likes?

Just because you don't reach quota doesn't mean that others don't as well. And since they do refresh individually, it's that much harder to keep track of all twenty.

Now you may argue that 20 isn't a whole lot, but tbh we have better things to remember than when exactly we liked something. Having a like counter (title tentative) would just make things a little bit easier.

I definitely understand what you're saying but I don't think it's that much of a problem. You can always comment on something and express WHY you like something. Which I think the person would appreciate more.

Can there be sub-topics in the Creative Media topic (assuming that's what it's called, I'm not really sure) for writing and drawing respectively. This would make it much easier for anyone looking for fan drawings or writing without using up as much time. Not only that, but this way one can follow one of the previously mentioned sub-topics without their notification box being filled with notifications that threads they have no interest in have been created.

We have topic prefixes for that.

I think for more personal messages on your page, you should be able to mark them so no one else can see them.

Sorry, I know you said not the messenger, but I'm just curious why people would need private profile comments when they can send a PM or chat message.

In case it was private, or something you didn't want anyone else but you to read, after it had been posted on your page already.

I see. I can kinda see the value in it, I mean it's kind of the same as Facebook offering complete control over who can see what bits of content. So I would support this feature if it was available.

 

However, creating a forum extension like this is beyond my level. If you want to take this further, you can either request for it to be included in the next version of IP.Board / IPS Social Suite, or you can request for someone to develop an extension which allows this.

That's another feature that I would support but can't implement.

Personally, I think the chat is shitty. So I guess I'd like for you to look into that, I mean it looks good and all, and of course you put quite some work into it, but the efficiency pretty much sucks for every tab I open I see messages which arent in another.

Yeah, that is an issue. A simple refresh or reloading of the page will fix it.

This is an issue, but it's not something that I can fix so easily. Arrowchat will have to make a fix for this. You'll have to contact Arrowchat regarding the issues if you want to take this further, here's their website: http://www.arrowchat.com/

Hm.  Is there a way to apply the system you have for posts on thread to be on the statuses as well?  I mean the way that it prohibits you from double posting/multi-posting.  I think it'd be great if that was applied.  May stop spamming and such.

I want liking statuses to be a thing too even if it will be a bit weird. Facebook does it, we have Facebook chat systems, lets get Facebook like buttons for our statuses. 

 

But double posting/multi-posting enforced on statuses is going to be too much, a lot of people have to double post and statuses and status comments have a limit on how much you can say in each post. So people are going to double post if they are typing walls of text and it gets cut off.

Yeah, I guess you're right.  Just leave it to the decency of people not to abuse the statuses I guess.
