Sega, or an unknown party, has apparently begun registering domains for Sonic Adventure 3 leading some to believe that a follow-up to the Dreamcast titles is underway at Sega HQ. If it’s a hoax then it’s a very thorough one as numerous domains for Sonic Adventure 3 have been registered. Is this the Sonic game you want to see? And Rapper Hunnid-P, who is the man behind the notorious Knuckle’s theme in Sonic Adventure 2, has revealed via Youtube that he’s working on a new Knuckles theme for an upcoming Sonic project. Sega, or a third-party, has been registering numerous domains for Sonic Adventure 3, so maybe this information ties in with that.

 

“I’ll have some new Knuckles music as soon as Sega and I work on this new project for Sonic so stay tuned!”

 

This all makes a possibility of a Sonic Adventure 3 happening. I mean think about it. There has been domains of Sonic Adventure 3 being in the works. The composer, himself, stated that he is making some new rap music for Knuckles. And on top of that, Sega recently announced Sonic Adventure 2 coming to the PSN and Xbox 360. It all adds up and could be very possible signs of the Sonic Adventure 3 happening. I hope this turns out to be true and that Sega announces this. I would love to go back to the days back when there was a "Hero" and "Dark" side.

If Sonic Adventure 3 is made, then it's finally going to make me want a Sonic game again. I miss the good old days with Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 on the Dreamcast.

I certainly hope so. I'm wondering if they're going to actually make it in the same style as the earlier two games or closer to Generations. I'm hoping the former, but considering how they seem to be trying as hard as they can to distance themselves gameplay wise from '06 I don't see that happening. I can dream though.

It's called Sonic the Hedgehog.

Then they made it again

It was called Sonic World Adventure.

 

But yeah, this makes sense; Sega has been riding the nostalgia train like crazy lately, and it's working well for them so far, why stop now and be unique?

In before despite being a 'sequel' to the Sonic Adventures, it still spends most of its time paying homage to the previous ones, with a whale chase, G.U.N. Truck chase, Chaos, the Master Emerald, and so forth.

I'd still love it.

 

But copanies buy domain names to protect their IPs all the time, so I won't get my hopes too high just yet...
