Is the End of the World Really a World?

Posted

Like, if Sora or somebody goes back there, what would they find? Is there something? Surely there's not just NOTHING there?

I dunno.

The End of the World is just the remains of the worlds destroyed by the Heartless. So since those worlds were restored, there is nothing left to compose the End of the World anymore, so it just doesn't exist.

They would find nothing.

it was the best final world.

Least Fav place in the whole series :(

Pretty much what NumberXIII.Roxas said. End of the World was a world version of a heartless, no heart=no Keyhole. It only served as a gateway to the RoD so Ansem SoD could get his hands on Kingdom Hearts. What I want to know is, will Destiny Islands ever be a playable world again? 'd like to explore the residential area and I don't think Sora ever sealed that Keyhole. In fact he hasn't sealed any Keyholes since Timeless River. Yeah I know that since the walls between the worlds have been restored there's really no need to seal anymore Keyholes but it stands to reason that, since Heartless can still enter the worlds, open Keyholes are still vulnerable to attack. Right?

Well....yeah. They can easily invade different worlds considering they don't have to cross through the barriers set on each world and instead they can just pop out from Dark Corridors.

Well the "End of the World" in KH1 was simply the leftovers of worlds destroyed by heartless, but those worlds were restored, so the place ceased to exist.

This couldn't be more specific.

Well i think it jsut doesnt exist anymore.. they couldnt go back...

I thought it all disappeared at the end when everyone was engulfed by the large blue light.

Basically, it's what Number XIII Roxas said. The End of the World is just the remains of worlds taken by the Heartless. Damn, if other worlds get consumed, they'll be nothing more than stepping stones, just like the ones we saw in KH1. o.o

I'm surprised they didn't have it in DDD...lol. Like Traverse Town, it was made from remnants of destroyed worlds, so it simply disappeared when the worlds were destroyed. You see that part of it broke away and became Destiny Islands when Sora said goodbye to Kairi. I wonder if we'll ever see it among sleeping worlds...? Meh, probably not.
