August 6, 201213 yr It was straight up confirmed by Nomura to be the personification of the darkness in Soras nightmare. In other words a nightmare This hence the nightmare emblem on his back.
August 6, 201213 yr It was straight up confirmed by Nomura to be the personification of the darkness in Soras nightmare. In other words a nightmare I guess, you don't try to argue against my thought but I'm gonna say it anyway. Just like Riku became a Dream Eater,it's also possible for someone to turn into a Nightmare.Since Vanitas is a part of Ven's heart and Ven's heart is a part of Sora's heart,it would also give it a plausible way for Vanitas to pop out of Sora's dream.

Nomura confirmed exactly what it was .Nomuras words= canon. Period. Go read the interview before you argue pointlessly. LOL! @ trying to argue against Nomuras own words.
August 6, 201213 yr It was a physical manifestaion of the nightmare Sora was experiencing while he was asleep. Edited August 6, 201213 yr by TheKeyblader
August 16, 201213 yr Given that information, though, are we still in the dark as to what it was that Aqua fought in the Realm of Darkness? (If that's in one of the interviews, then I'm sorry: I didn't read any of the recent interviews because they were marked with spoiler tags.)

Until said otherwise it was just a very strong heartless/ being of darkness Edited August 16, 201213 yr by Flaming Lea
August 16, 201213 yr IN THE GAME, THE ACTUAL GAME If you read the discription of the Character in the Journal, it says in plain english that he is the nightmare that keeps Sora traped in sleep. Not an interwiew after the fact, it is written down inside the game itself.

August 17, 201213 yr This ^ The info is in the actual game. Stop and read the reports sometime. Thats what they're there for. Yes but unless you post interviews people STILL wont believe it bc they just really want to believe its Vanitas .Thats why its best to quote interviews. Nomura= canon ..It happens all the time LOL IN THE GAME, THE ACTUAL GAME If you read the discription of the Character in the Journal, it says in plain english that he is the nightmare that keeps Sora traped in sleep. Not an interwiew after the fact, it is written down inside the game itself. Read what i wrote above . This thread even proves my point ..Its a shame people do that, right ? August 17, 201213 yr I think the game data is more 'canon' than the interview. Once it is published, you're stuck with it. Interviews are nice, but the people asking questions haven't read those interviews. They have no way of knowing the interviews exist. Why should they look outside of the game for answers writen IN THE GAME THEY ARE HOLDING IN THERE HANDS.

If you are talking to me , you should QUOTE my post Otherwise unless i just happen to come back here i wont get notified . You totally missed my entire point .Yes they shouldve gotten that info in game ..BUT even then people will STILL try to say otherwise unless Nomura himself says what it is hence why quoting interviews shuts them up.What part of that point didnt you get ? I wasnt disputing about whether the info in game is canon .Just pointing out people will STILL deny it unless Nomura says so . ( it happened in this very thread ) And LOTS of people read interviews especially those who joined this site since they are all posted and archived here.

Why u so hostile :IJust for the record people have an awful habit of denying things that clearly shown in the games. Then when they do acknowledge they either interpret it in their own way or twist it to fit what their saying. Posting interviews is the only ironclad way of showing somebody their wrong somtimes. Like lea^ always says Nomura's own words = canon.
