Riku = Aqua or Terra? [Spoilers]

Posted

If you think about it, story-wise, Riku is like Terra cause of his determination to protect his friends, and being controlled by Doucebagnort, but gameplay wise, and MoM wise, he becomes Keyblade Master, and a lot of his abilities are similar to Aqua's abilities (Dark Barrier, Counter Aura, Doubleflight, etc.). What do you think?

He's more dark-like (Not at the moment, tough), has a personality that looks like Terra's, was fooled by Xehanort... I think the only thing he and Aqua have in common is that they passed the Mark o Mastery.

Kingdom Hearts is nothing but a huge string of cliches with a name slapped on it

I don't think there's a significant connection, just how two cliche characters are similar

He's totally their son. He's kind of both, he holds Aqua's maturity and several combat styles similar to hers, but he's also like Terra in the whole darkness/strength to protect his friends/etc. He's a nice balance of both light and dark, he can have fun and revived some of his traits when he was on the islands, but knows when to be serious or sincere. I think he's achieved that "Road to Dawn" he's wanted. I'm so proud of him. uwu <3

Riku is Terra, but done right.

I'm with Rob. It's like nature released a patch for Terra called Riku, and it just fixed all the problems. You know... like the patch we need...
