In the ending when Lea saved Sora and Donald and Goofy came to the rescue (out of nowhere) MX said "We are out of time" and they all started fading right? Does this mean they all returned to their own time (which means YMX, Xemnas and Ansem SoD goes back to their own time) or did they just teleport out into the real world and NONE of them went to their own time?

 

I kind of saw this youtube comment and was a bit confused right now:

 

 

Xehanort returns to this point in time from the future. The reason everyone fades away at the end of the scene is because their time in this point in time, their window of opportunity to complete the 13 darknesses, was up. Xemnas and Ansem:SoD, as well as young Xehanort, came from the past. This means that the ONLY chance they'll have to get Terra back is at the time when all Seven Lights would already be assembled and ready to fight. See the problem?

Well young xehanort is from the distant past so he ha to go waaaay back now. Ansem SoD and Xemans have to go back to the period before they were defeated and xehanort stays in the present but has to go to the real world(realm of light, whatever you call it) since xehanort can no longer live at the same time as his nobody and heartless,right?

They NEED 13 Seeker's of darkness for KH3. Will they be assembling again and repeating their plans again?

They return to their own times. But also remember Nomura already confirmed that not all were from the past . And we are supposed to wonder about which ones... So Terra might be able to be saved before the last battle depending on what happened to him .( which hasnt been confirmed except that hes under MX's control)
