  • No, Kingdom Hearts III will never enter development. You'll just have to learn to accept it.

I already thought it was in development 'cause my friend tests games for Square, and was sent a small area (literally one room) where Sora had to fight enemies on the PS3.

I think though after reading the secret message and the letters in the credits, that it was obvious to be next.

really?!! that's awesome !!!

But it literally was just one small room area place where he had to fight and test a new battle system, then send it back with feedback. It could just be KH1+2 in HD, cause I think they wouldn't be too short of releasing KH3 with the PS4 so fans will buy the units, though i don't have like 400 quid spare...

sony has already said they have no plans on releasing the p24 anytime soon, they said it would be a distraction. earliest the ps4 is coming out is 2016

ps4*

I've talked about this for a while with my fellow KH players, and we definately see it as a likely sign for KH III, Tetsuya Nomura is quite malicious enough to have a different less obvious meaning, and so we're holding out hope for an actual confirmation without any evasive answering.

HD collection was prooven awhile ago not to be happening anytime soon, square said they had no other plans for the 10th anniversary of KH and the director of DDD said KH3 was in fact the next game to be released. Nomura never confirmed that the remakes would happen he just said he was interested in them. Plus in may he said the next title/entry of the series was underway and remakes would not count as the next entry. If there is a hd collection someday id rather get kh3 first i have all my original kh games and im not gonna re-buy them just cause they look better.

Well, the secret message mentions the past will be reawakened. Maybe they could develop a HD Collection at the same time they develop KHIII. I mean, all they have to do is remake the steps done when producing the past games, and adapt them for the new platform, which would take less time then if they were literally developing completely new games, so they could get KHIII and the HD Collection released at the same time, or have the latter released with KHIIIFM.

Confirming Kingdom Hearts 3 is not really a big news since we all knew someday this game will come. I would like Nomura to create at least a teaser trailer or provide us with any kind of screenshots regarding Kingdom Hearts 3.

Well I guess I was wrong since Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX was announced at the TGS, oh well I'm happy with it being the Final Mix version of KH1, that is if it comes to the States. Guess this means we will get a 2.5 before 3 now.

Seems a bit off topic but imagine 2 player co-op in KH3 for story mode or like the Org. XIII Data fights

Sounds like something EA would do
