I recently have gone back through Days and in some of the scenes I noticed that when Roxas spoke, Xion had her face shown, but if there was another person in the scene, like Axel and he was talking, then Xion'd have her hood on. Was Roxas the only one who saw Xion that way?

I THINK axel sees Xion the same way....but people like Xigbar sees Xion as Ventus. But, since we play on Roxas's point of view 99% of the game, we see her like Roxas does

 

Oh wait, i see what you mean now. Well, yeah where you are, only Roxas sees her like that, but as the story progresses SOME people will see her different. (I.e Ventus)

Yeah, but in a few scenes, when Axel spoke and it showed Xion on the screen, she still had her hood up while anytime Roxas spoke and she was on the screen she'd have her hood down and her face would be showing and that was in scenes when they would talk back and forth and her hood would be on, then off, then back on and so on.

Because they were trying to show that you ( as Roxas) were seeing Xion as that ..but that others would see her differently .Dont forget this was before BBS so if they showed she looks like Ven to others you wouldnt probably understand why ..You would prolly think you were seeing Roxas instead of Ven anyways but still...There is a reason this was suppose to be partly hidden yet still showing that she was viewed differently by whoever saw her depending on their connection/memories. Also i should add that as Xion absorbed more and more of Soras memories she was also slowly becoming 'sora' .She did syphon off the memories and also shared her power with Roxas..They were constantly going back and forth sharing this

But, I still dun understand why Xigbar sees Ven? Was it the face Ven had made to him during the final parts or was it that Ven's heart was a part of Sora's? It's still confusing, because at that time I had though Ven gave him the scars, then I played BBS when it came out and found out it wasn't him.

Xigbar knew Ven when he was Braig.Since Vens heart was in Sora and eventually Roxas Xigbar was viewing Xion ( who is based on Sora) as Ven bc of the connection and his past memories.

I did understand it the way that Xion is something like a mirror. If someone feels nothing for her and thinks she's nothing more like a puppet than she appears as a puppet. Roxas had strong feelings for her and he is Sora's Nobody, so she appeared as a Person who's important to Sora. This gave Xion her look ... And I think Xigbar felt to her the same way as he felt for Ventus, and 'cause of the Connection between Xion, Roxas, Sora and Ventus, he looked at her and saw him. And I really think Xion felt the same way for Xigbar as Ventus did in the past o.o

But I thought in one of the reports Axel wrote for Days he says something like "Number 14 took off her hood today and she looks exactly like Namine" something along those lines, so is that to say he saw her as Namine or did he at any point see her the same way Roxas saw her?

The reason he saw Namine was bc up until that point he had never met Kairi.. So Xion looks like kairi but with different hair just like Namine does. (Since Xions appearance is based off Soras memories and Kairi).. The more memories Xion syphoned the more she started to look like Sora tho. Which is why she DID look like Sora at the end .

Her looking like Sora made me wonder: Is she technically a shemale?

Basically the secret reports/just the reports really clarify things more.

Actually it was it wasn't the first time, but it was probably the time Axel either came up with the plan for she and Roxas to go on missions together until she can use the Keyblade again or after she could and they showed him.

Now that I've gone back and reread that, it seems Xigbar has a huge grudge against Ven or something. He said the same to Sora in KH2. "He used to give me that same exact look." Roxas never glared at Xigbar for one, and at that time no one knew who he was talking about and only figured Roxas was the plausible answer, but then BBS came along and the Xion scene happened in Days so we knew then that he was talking about Ven.

Everyone sees Xion differently.

• Roxas sees her as a black-haired version of Kairi (more or less)

• Axel sees her the same way Roxas does, but remarks on how much she looks like Namine. Before they become friends, though, Axel also sees Xion as a blank puppet, just like Saix.

• Xemnas sees her as a perfect copy of Sora

• Xigbar sees her as Ventus

• Saix sees her as a blank puppet

• Riku also sees her as the black-haired Kairi-esque person

• The rest of the Organization I'm not too sure, but they probably see her as a blank puppet like Saix, or as Sora.

A lot (if not all) of this was probably already posted, but I figured I'd make it a little more digestible and unified ^^
