After a brief traipse into the introductions forum to say hai to some neubs, I could help but notice something

Unoriginality.

The same cut and paste responses for every single topic.

Should we be trying to make our new members feel welcomed with unique and personalized responses? I mean, what purpose does a generic, unfeeling greeting serve?

Seriously people, get creative here! Make a first impression!

we've got all sorts of jokes we can throw around... and as a community, we're colectively pretty badass! We should be showing this full front to our new members! Make them stick around to find all the awesome stuff hidden in the secret depths if KH13

Or just, if being creative is too much, you could always ask DChiuch to turn your account into a bot that churns out the same soulless quote at a much more efficient rate

No wonder why lots of people just join and introduce themselves, then leave.

So yeah, as a whole, most of the posts in the introductions forum suck and shouldn't exist

I just posted a remix (advertising) and said that SK3 brought me here (people worried) when I came here. Think that's an alright introduction.

I don't post replies to those topics much, but when I do, I make sure they're different. This is due to the reason that I don't really save my posts into my notebook and eventually end up forgetting what I said on the last thread anyway.

I have to say, even if some responses are generic, this forum is better than many others where people dont even bother to post in an intro threads.

Although I have to admit I still haven't come up with more clever things to post with it. So many people joined this summer they ran me dry.

I have many creative things to say to new members.

 

Though I think my ideas wouldn't encourage them to stay on this site any more than the copy & paste responses.
