Hahah, I don't blame you, it's an easy mistake to make. xD

I see...uh, I forgot the subject because it took you so long. Anyways, Maruluxia was originally going to be Female, but Nomura didn't want both traitors to be female, so he made him male. But I still don't get who the other traitor was, Namin'e, or Larxene?

I think it was Larxene

considering Namine isn't even in the organization.

That could be a possibility.

This thread goes to XI.

Yeah, sorry about that my internet crapped out on me so I couldn't reply sooner. Nomura said that he didn't want two females to try and take over the organization and fail which is what Marluxia and Larxene did so I think it's Larxene.

I thought it was weird at first but I'm fine with it now. Either way, I think Nomaru has/would of made it work just fine. You should add a neutral option in the poll because that's what I would of chosen.

yeah i guess but i think they just wanted one female in the organization

If he was a girl I don't think anyone would consider him a good antagonist in the game. If a girl started throwing rose petals at you you'd be all "oh hey little girly wants to play."

It would have been interesting in my book. It could have worked too, if Marluxia kept the same personality.

But what can we do? Marluxia turned out a great antagonist in the end, anyway.

I honestly thought he was female at first. Hard to tell the difference.

It would've offensive to us girls(well to me anyway) if Nomura made both traitors of the Organization female. Besides, I like the idea of a fenimine guy in Organization XIII(though it was kinda creepy to me when I saw him surrounded by all those flowers and sparkles drinking tea in the 358/2 Days manga).

Either

I think he was fine the way he was. He worked out fine as a he but I can see him as a girl.

He doesn't look bad with pink hair anyways

Yeah, I feel he should have been.

They did the same thing in FF13 where Fang was supposed to be a male but was instead female and didn't change much about her appearance.

though i still do find her attractive c:

Marluxia is just fine the way he is.  I cant Imagine a female Marluxia.

I rather prefer him as male

no male Marluxia, no Keith Fergusan.

Marluxia's a He?

Well, Marluxia isn't very feminine in his actions, just his looks, so I'd say no. Do not question KH Universe

I thought Marluxia was a girl just by his name, but after seeing him in the cutscenes I realized he was a he.

The feminine... traits he has make him kind of an exotic, non conventional character. After all, the Graceful Assassin has a lot of death symbolism in his character. Being so pink and flowers doesn't change the fact that he's a man. We just tend to misinterpret pink and flowers.
