Monty Oum, the creator of Dead Fantasy is creating a new show, called RWBY {Red White Black Yellow} so far, there is a trailer which showcase what I believe is Red, a girl based off of Little Red Riding hood. It's incredibly badass, and the soundtrack so far sounds amazing!

Today's episode was definitely something to talk about, given its... content. But, let's delve into what that was.

 

 

First, the good: The interactions between Jaune, Pyrrha, and Neptune gave us a nice little chuck of character development for each one of them, Jaune and Pyrrha's being the biggest of course. Then there was Jaune in a dress... I have no words for that really. It was that hilarious. Also the little scenes here and there with the cast members just dancing and having fun. The action scenes involving Cinder were also great, but that's a given considering I always have something good to say about the action in this series. Even the way she seemingly framed Ruby in front of Ironwood was a bit of a shock, I might add. It definitely sets some tension for what will come next week.

 

Now, the bad: ... Well... the entire first part of the episode. Basically everything up until Cinder infiltrating the CCT. I know I said that the interactions between Jaune, Pyrrha, and Neptune were good, but honestly, it also dragged on, mostly due to fillerish stuff like Jaune getting pissy over Neptune and Weiss. We could have dealt with this matter in a lot quicker time. Plus, I'm getting sick of all this teasing with Jaune and Pyrrha already. Is anybody gonna make a move already?? Also that dance sequence... yeah, see, impromptu dance sequences just aren't really my thing in a series like this. It was too random, and Jaune in a dress, while funny, didn't help it either. If it was just Nora, Lie Ren and some background characters, then sure. Plus, it kind of ruins the moment that Jaune and Pyrrha were having. Other than that, I noticed some wonky animation during the sequence with Cinder running across rooftops, but that's it.

 

Overall, I'd give this episode a 7/10.

At least the love square or whatever shape it's in is largely over. The random dancing was funny, and really, I didn't mind it too terribly. I was half expecting it considering it was a dance to begin with. Also, no note about how insane Cinder's power are? I could watch that sequence a million times over and still have no idea what she can really do. I really hope they put some more depth and explanation as to how she can do those things.

I agree. Her whole backstory as a whole is pretty up in the air. But then again, a lot of other characters are like that too.

Oh, yeah. Gotta love the fact that 7%  of the screen time had me and Blake dancing our butts off. Man, she's good.

 

And Jaune's dress? Classic! Even better than my *gag* *wheeze*...nec-*gag* neck....trap!

That episode was great there where some sequences where Cinder was fighting that she wasn't wearing her mask but that's understandable.  Can we please just discuss how Jaune looks in a dress he's pretty buff and that's nice.  The dancing was good too and I liked the whole interaction between Jaune and Neptune since their voice actors are like super best friends it's nice to have seen that in the show as well, not so much action but that's ok the show doesn't always have to have action and it was good overall

All I have to say is... Cinder=Axel's long lost sister. lel

 

(Seriously, the way she summed her weapons really reminded me of him)
